First of all, he's got alot of nerve disrespecting you in your own home. Secondly, hosting the study and reading the paragraphs are both "privileges". If you toss him out of your house and/or cuss him out, you lose. The nut-job will have the moral high ground, but I will make you feel better. The ball's in your court, obviously you are not required to provide your home as a meeting place.

Sunday School etc....
by quellycatface ini have never understood why the jw's did'nt have a sunday school or some kind of educational thing going for children.
it seems pretty selfish and antiquated.. i remember growing up, i was terrified of "satan" and "the demons".
not forgetting the "jehovah is watching you" crapola.. i think it's wrong letting young kids listen to fairly adult themed talks, items etc....it's got to affect them mentally.. any thoughts?.

I have to agree, this reminds me of a WT article about five years ago that discussed oral/anal sex being porneia, etc,etc. Can you imagine the questions from little Johnny on the way home from that meeting? Awkward!

Remember what they said at the assembly today...
by lrkr inso, the wife and i are reminiscing today about how when you would leave an assembly- you would struggle to remember just one interesting point.
usually- you had to look at your notes or the program to just remember 1 thing that struck you.
all day of talking and less than :30 seconds of information retained!!!.

With fewer venues for this year's round of DCs, there is a good chance that a GB member will be at your local DC. These men are one of the WT's biggest assets, what with most active JWs hanging on to every word during their talks. The rank and file believe that just being near one of these men is a blessing and are more likely to swipe their debit cards and even drop jewelry into the donation boxes.

Why Is Alcoholism Deeply Embeded In JW Culture?
by RottenRiley inwe get plenty of company men passing through our circuit, often filled with misinformation and lugging around a suitcase of guilt, they bring more guilt to the weak while praising the braggart pioneers and slapping the "righteous over much" elders.
why are the wrong people getting praise in this distorted community?
i know for a fact many of the elders i served with have issues with alcoholism, when "brother guilt" brought his emotional hurricane through our circuit, i had the chance to eat and help pay for his "seven shots of tequila", both him and his wife were not immune to over-indulgences.
