  even if you are young and heathy there are very good reasons to fear this disease and take drastic actions to avoid it individually, and halt it together as communities.

  not only would it be traumatic as a society to lose so many old and unwell family members and friends, but survivors of the disease may suffer significant health problems in the future.

  survivors of the first sars virus in 2003 have suffered significant lung problems.

  My pimi sister is always testing me about how wonderful jehober's organization is in getting ahead of the curve by preparing us. She often mentions the Go Bags and she has 3 of them. I popped her bubble last week when I mentioned that the Mormons have instructed their people for decades the store food "just in case". Maybe the Mormons know more than jw's!

  I forgot to mention that after the big 1957-58 Asian Flu pandemic, That very summer, 250,000 jw's from around the world, merrily descended on NYC for a International Convention. I was there because somehow I survived the Asian Flu.

  Then in the summer of 1969 immediately after the 1968-69 Hong Kong Flu pandemic, jw's were once again merrily gathering at huge conventions all summer. I was at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California with 59,000.

  I'm 73 this month, hence born in 1947. I've lived thru the Asian Flu of 1957-58 and the Hong Kong Flu of 1968-69. Both of these originated in Asia and both were declared and considered Pandemic events. They were both worldwide and were spread by travelers and soldiers (especially during 1968-69 when troops were returning from Vietnam).

  Did I say that they were Pandemic events??????

  Both pandemics events spread quickly world wide and affected millions---But the actual death toll was relatively small.

  Both lasted a few months.

  Both scared my jw mom shitless. We were all gonna die !

  Thank god (or whatever) that we didn't have the internet back in 1958 and 1968. Not saying this flu isn't bad, but learn from history and be cool!

  of all the things people decided they needed to stockpile for a potential quarantine.

  all of the stores around my area ran completely out of toilet paper this last weekend.

  people were piling it into their carts and vehicles as if they were going to be holed up for a year.

  30 rolls=

  425 sheets per roll=

  12,750 sheets pr case=

  let's say 20 sheets per shit=

  637.5 shits per DAY! So a person that grabbed up 4 cases of TP from Costco when it was available, and has a family of 4 that are quarantined for the suggested 14 days would need to shit 182 times a day each to use the purchased amount of TP from Costco (ass-uming 20 sheets per shit).

  Everyone needs to calm down!

  Who really cares ? Besides, where they gonna send missionaries, Iran, China, Saudi Arabia where the "good news about god's kingdom" hasn't been heard? No they will probably be sent to New York City, Nebraska, Iowa, North Dakota, and other foreign countries like that!

  Maybe the wt could take advantage of this news by starting a 'bunker' building business. Since there is no longer a need to build new kh's to accommodate the "tremendous" increase (not) the wt could now use all the volunteer labor to build 'bunkers'. lol

  Back in the late 50's and early 60's, bomb shelters were the rage because the Russians were going to drop an A bomb! Remember?
