i've never bought webspace before.
the main purpose is simply to host pictures and audio files.
The unlimited disk space and data transfers of arvixe.com is what's appealing to me, and for $4 US. I don't need any "premium" or "business" plan. It's just for hosting files.
The wife isn't very happy that I'm thinking about paying for webspace, but with the free hosting sites I've been using going belly-up, I think it'll be worth it instead of re-uploading everything repeatedly.

I would also like to pay by the year, not by month.

Ah, Ontario, home of Canada's pulp & paper industry. Sounds like a win-win for the WTS to move printing there. Get themselves some nice WT trucks to haul the stuff, and costs go way, way down. Maybe they'll make the calendars bigger now!

about half of the freeway exits i get off at have someone there begging.
in the past i felt they were only hitting me up for money to by drugs or booze so i rarely handed them any.
in this economy i'm wondering if some of them aren't really in need of something to eat.
Years ago there used to be a deaf man who went from one MacDonald's to the next showing a card and selling tiny pencils. Well since I know sign language I stopped him a couple of times and asked if he knew sign language and he would respond Yes. So I would ask him why is he begging. You never saw a man run so fast out of the restaurant towards his big car with 2 girls sitting in it waiting for him. It was a con.
Lady Lee, I remember that guy! He used to give you a card with the sign language alphabet on it when you gave him money. Before I got my current job, I was somewhat ignorant of how well the province takes care of the disabled. Now, I see everything. They're not rich, but they have their needs taken care of - with exception of those who are under Federal care. Those people get LOTS of money. Most of their houses I go to have large-screen plasma TVs and vehicles to drive around in. But they still drink booze like fish, live like slobs, and don't have jobs. They make more money than I do solely because of their race.

I don't give them anything. I bust my ass for my money. Our city has all kinds of programs to help the homeless and poor get on their feet. If they choose not to take advantage of those programs, then that's their problem.

The only thing I really understood from the death of Jesus is that his death ended the need for us to apologize to Jehovah by killing animals. In other words, a death makes Jehovah happy. The death of Jesus made Jehovah happy enough to say "Okay, no need to kill anymore animals. You killed my kid. Killing him is like killing zillions of animals. His death gave me a boner, thank you."
