I'll try and find out more tomorrow, as it's late now, i'll keep you posted.
But i know The Org keeps some sort of lien so it can't be just liquidated...at least that's what i was told.
hope someone can enlighten me!!!!.
just curious as to who has legal ownership of the kh/ah.
most kh/ah are built with free labour and the loan for the hall comes from the society, which the cong then repays - hence the question.

As far as I know legal titles belong to the organisation, which corporation exactly i don't know, the legal eagles here prolly have a better idea.
Why do you want to know?
an article appeared in last thursdays advertiser newspaper over here in south australia regarding a court case where a current jehovah's witness (tm) sued a farmer and the adelaide congregation of jehovahs witnesses for injuries he sustained during a 'house-to-house' visit.. sorry i haven't got time to reproduce the whole 3/4-page article so i'll just paraphrase it.
if any aussies want to see it just go to your state library and they'd have it there.
article details:.
Yeh good point ED, but you know what, I have a feeling this guy wanted out anyway, and suing his cong. is going to get him real attitude, he'll start getting shunned now for daring to take the Cong. to court.
If he is still attending meetings that is, that happened way back in July 2001 don't forget, hey he's probably in thid Forum...hehehehe

Closest I got Giz was sparing some water for my dead roses.....
i don't bother watering Debz, apart from the fact that my garden is all but dead, the minute you put water on anything, it screams and runs back up the hose.
Hey RB, don't worry about Quebec man, only Frenchies up there eh?

At the bottom of the article there is room for a reply, which they say they may publish, hmmmm maybe we ought to tell them, the REAL truth about witnessing? And how it's not exactly voluntary.

Just how proud and arrogant does one have to be to publish a "ministry" book with that title?
As proud and as arrogant as a society believing they are the sole "true" represantatives of Christ on earth today!
But they take the name from Phil 2:15
