  i hated it with a passion!

  who enjoyed it??.

  i can possibly imagine someone who's home life was miserable, and it was an excuse to get out of the house.

  When i went out with good friends of mine...one time me and my sister in law had gotten to the territory and then she took me home to get my jacket. we made cups of hot milo and gossiped all morning...never did get back out there that morning

  How Screwed Up Are You Because You Were A Jehovah's Witness???

  after reading so many experiences about how being a jw affected a person's life, i wonder how your life has turned out because you were at one time a witness.

  i think it did screw me up..........

  when i stopped going to the meetings, i didnt know how to live "a normal life". i was too scared to do anything because i thought everyone from the meetings was watching or scared i would get told off for doing something even though i wasnt going to the meetings anymore........i put up with some crap from others that went and nice little ol' me wouldnt answer them back, even though now i would. too many pent up emotions...it did no good for my head....did things because it was what everyone else wanted me to do...

  hi you guys... just thought i'd pass on my sadness for me to heal a little.. if that's okay.. i was in the "program" for 11 years, husband witnessed to me in college while he was inactive, we studied together, got baptized & married.

  had rough times... but i loved him so much........unconditionally despite wt doctrine.

  last 3 years we both started to miss meetings and question the bs.

  i was talking to my sister in law and her brother is an elder and he reckons that they have just been told that if anyone reports any child abuse or molestation issus to them then "it has to go straight to the police".

  that seems to mean the elders report it or they recommend that the victim reports it to the police

  Do you(all) realize how beautiful you are?

  i don't mean just in the personality sense---which of course you all are---but in the physical sense!

  tall, short, thin, heavy, dark, light, --this is a good-looking bunch!

  yes some of us have things we wish were different about our looks---but i have not seen anyone here from pics who is not somewhere in the top percentile of human beauty.

  i know what you are saying....but while i was supposed to be going to the meetings, it was off and on, i was warned by a witness relative about hanging around my husband sister who was disfellowhipped and we just used to go around to visit and talk in general....how do the elders really know what we might have been talking about anyway....because they always tell everyone not to even eat with disfellowshipped ones

  and the second answer you gave....well, does that mean he picks and chooses when and if he saves someone even though they are doing his work
