  i am writer currently working on a book about the watchtower.

  Are the days of the week Pagan?

  someone posted that the wt should discard the calendar and the days of the week as pagan because of their origins.

  actually they did and tried to replace it with their own.

  didn't last but it shows the mindset of those who were telling everyone god was directing them at the time and still today.

  Most things are pagan,wedding ceremonies,the exchanging of the rings etc.Bowling is pagan,peoples names are pagan ,some greetings are pagan.I had this web sight in my computer but can't find it .It has all pagan practices of today.I will try to locate it. kls

  a few days ago, mom tells me she's visiting a new kh.

  according to her account, all the pioneer sisters are asking about "me" (we don't remember the name, but your daughter that used to come to meetings.

  ) ps #1 says "we're missing you, tell her we say hi.

  It sounds more like gossip.I remember a long long time ago going out inservice{annoyiny people} and we would chat about people that have not been to meetings.Jws love gossip,it makes them feel better about their own dreary lives. They are trying to get some dirty laundry to tell the elders .If they want mine i will show them in person. kls

  When the medical report comes out we may find then if the stab wounds were to severe ,that a transfusion may not have saved her.But if it comes out that she bled to death and blood would have saved her life ,then she would be alive today.The son must be charged no matter what,but the question is did he outright kill her, or not having blood cause her death.These are my feelings ,not a debate.

  My mother who was not a jw ,died of lung and brain cancer.She wanted no chemo ,nothing.That was her choice to die or try to live .She chose to die her way.Now should the family and doctors be charged with murder for going along with her decission? That transfusion may have saved that stabbing victim.
