Hate speech in newspapers
by zound inin australia the local newspapers usually run a story about jw district conventions when they roll into town, with crap that is probably fed to them by the watchtower society.. is it worth approaching the newspapers about the apostate hate speech talk and referencing perhaps the 'slaughter the apostates' article?
how should i approach them to best get a foot in the door?
is it a useless endevour considering that newspapers (at least the shit-house ones in australia) are mostly concerned with not making waves and just filled with advertising space..

Scientologit and mormon apostates
by zound indoes anyone find it odd that it seems there's less of a vocal apostate movement for scientology and mormons.
i'm getting this from google - i can't seem to find any majour forums like this one, or websites that are regularly updated exposing doctrines etc.. there is stuff out there, but from my search at least it doesn't seem to be as much as jw's.. strange considering mormons have 13 mill (?).
scientologists 'claim' 8 mill.. .

Ray Franz picture in Watchtower publications
by zound ini remember as a kid (in the late 80's early 90's) seeing ray franz picture in some kind of publication and being told by my mother that he was a gb member that became an apostate and wrote a book.. does anyone know what publication this could have been?
i haven't been able to find it anywhere..

Imitate the Angels (GB talk)
by zound ina fairly interesting talk - he also gave it or a similar one for bethel graduation talks.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdaz8cb0uck.
a few things that stuck out to me:.
he begins by saying that we have to be careful when imitating humans as they are imperfect - but we can imitate everything about angels as they are perfect.
