one lawyer said he has over 28 cases in the pipeline that are going to be coming out soon.

on december 1 st a new one just popped up.

so, unfortunately, i'm still on the tms and had a talk tonight (in front of a co, no less) and the talk was on the subject of adultery.

in the source material there's reference to "spiritual adultery" i.e.

idolotry or when israel had alliances with pagan nations.

i'm looking for a way to disassociate myself, now i'm thinking to make a "public declaration" before a civil law notary (i'm in chile), but i need some ideas about what to put in that declaration, i would like to look the "ks" book to cover all possible sides and make a solid declaration... any experiences?

my plan is to make that legal declaration that would say "i'm no longer consider myself a jehovah's witness nor want to be linked to any of the wt organizations or legal entities, and want all my personal records to be erased"... any orientation will be helpful :).

Just adding further to my above post. If you are a convert, youthful, havnt been jw for a lengthy period of time and have no family or social connections. (Which this sounds like you). Then by all means walk out with your middle finger extended to them. Nothing gained nothing lost. For born in like me this is just out of the question.

I really begining to think is a massive problem. So far this fortnight there have been 2×13 million dollar pay out. One of which WT got kicked out of.The Conti case has a date set. 7 new law suites in texas. Have I missed anything out Barbra.

Honestly if you have still got family in your best bet is just to fade off into the distance. Just makes life so much more pleasant, and if you don't have to rock the boat then don't.

There was an elderly sister in my cong, at the time I was very active. Ok she wasn't a publisher but was at all the meetings. It wasn't until she was dead and buried and I went to chase her up for something that i discovered that she had died. At the time I put it down to been a big congregation but now that i look back on it i have to wonder how I possibly could not have known. I swear not a word out of anyone. Would love to know what her wordly family thought.

Abuse among JWs once again highlighted on national TV / Norway

the major commercial tv network in norway, has once again highlighted abuse within religious communities.

the only group not willing to reveal any information on abuse cases is jehovahs witnesses.

They seem to be taking a real hammering in Scandanavia lately. Be interesting to see if this is will show up as a further decrease in those countries.

I totally agree with your sentiments. It just amazes me how an organization will spend billions of dollars and countless man hours trying to find a new recruit and yet will do relatively nothing to help, maintain or retain that member. As you have highlighted here. It's just like they don't get It. Estimates are they lose around a million members every decade and they just stand by and watch it happen. Beats me.

i was talking to a jw friend of mine who is going for tests to see if she needs evasive surgery.

she was describing to me the look on the surgeons face when she told him she won't except blood.

i just felt sorry for her.

I just felt sorry for her. Here's a person who may have a life threatening condition, and hasn't got a clue that a few years ago they had also banned organ transplants and blood fractions. Sadly I kept my mouth shut. Just silly how a person is willing to die for the ever changing doctrine of the WT.
