what's the society's latest teaching on voting?

is it a "conscience" matter or is it still forbidden?

i got into a discussion with a jw on another board and she says it may be ok to go into voting booth to avoid danger but it 3was forbidden to actually vote for a candidate.

i have been thinking about this as a topic, and after reading the following comment by bikerchic on another thread, i think it is relevant, and would like to hear the american's thoughts on this.he never should have been president and it's a shame that we as us citizens let him get away with cheating his way into office.

should the supreme court have decided the presidency?

should there have been a recount?

How about using their own illustrations?

a long time ago, while giving bible studies to poor unsuspecting souls, i used one of their illustrations when people claimed that other religions had a lot of good things, and it went something like this:.

"yes, but would you drink a glass of water where most of it was good but it had a just a drop of poison in it?".

then, i was just thinking this very morning.... i'll from now on use that same illustration on them, regarding issues like the un, the spousal abuse, or the child molestation!.
