My Ex is suicidal, apparently

some of you might remember my story from years ago - how i became an 'apostate' which effectively ended my marriage of 20 years.

how my wife subjected me to intense psychological abuse when i left 'the truth'.. my son ben, whom i love deeply, left when he was dragged into the back room and told he was being used by satan to corrupt the congregation (he was only15) because he was gay.. my dearest middle daughter charlotte, who has more common sense than all of us put together, 'left' on her 14th birthday.

she was dragged out of the house in her bare feet to be taken to the meeting, and because i intervened i spent the next year on a camp bed in the front room.. in the end, i could not stand the abuse and left.

All this pain and turmoil over a cult forcing folks to pledge loyalty to the meeting and the "faithful slave" of men. The body count keeps adding up. I'm so sorry for all of your family dmouse.

Well that was weird!

i heard a knock at the door just now and i open it up and its a lady, all by herself with a folder.

she tells me she is doing volunteer work along with thousands of other people around the world to help mankind.

she says volunteers have been sent out into all parts of the worls, including the jungle, eygpt and the middle east...yes, the jungle.

Ditto to what Juni said. They aren't required to go in pairs, but the rest of what your related is very weird - perhaps that's why she was alone - no one wanted to go to the door with a nutburger.

You Say I've Inherited What???

i get a phone call last friday telling me there was a note pinned to the door of my old house (deserted and up for sale) saying to contact this person asap because i am an heir to something or other.. eventually, i get around to it this morning; i make the call.. it seems xto energy corporation is looking for me because i'm an heir to my great grandmother's mineral rights to a 4 acre strip of land in burleson texas.

the land is wanted for drilling purposes by the oil and gas drilling exploration team.. i met with the agent this morning.

he showed me my great grandmother's obituary and his copy of the family tree.

SNAP! Good day for you Terry and I'm glad for you. No nothing like that has happened to me, but I'm up for it! Yes, I'm really up for it. Naturally you will have doubts about how much you should hold out for, but I'm sure you'll research in whatever way you can to get compensated - or you could build a house on the property and kick your feet up.

Dog Lovers? Sad day for me.

we found out this weekend that my doggie of 10 years has a tumor in her mouth.

it got infected and swelled and that was the only way we knew anything was wrong.

i took her for a biopsy this morning and was told by the vet, that he thought sending the biopsy off was a waste of money.

I don't have advice other than to make her last days the best ever. It's going to be the worst day ever when this happens to me and my dog. Some days they seem like our only friends don't they?

I met Hambeak today and he is amazing.

i had to bust hambeak out on what an absolutely amazing person he is.

his story is his to tell and everyone here would be so blessed as to spend an afternoon with he and his.

they are absolutely wonderful people and i think i am gonna love him for forever.

I'm sooooo low in my spirits today... :(

i'm not going to get into much details but i'm just so depressed today.

today i feel like i'm living in a personal hell.

i have been sinking into this depression lately and it seems like it's starting to consume me.

It's heartbreaking to hear someone talk about feeling this way. It would be nice to be able take the pain away from each other.

(Imagine a system were each of us could take a bit of someone's trouble and pain and relieve them of it? Man that would make you feel like a real friend if you could do that.)

Feeling depressed is so hard. I hope you don't feel too alone as we're here.
