were most witnesses very intelligent, in your honest opinion?
They are above average in public speaking, and general bible knowledge.
Maybe they are a little lower salary wise than the average.
Since most of them didn't go to college or university, they are less knowledgeable in many fields, but maybe not less intelligent.
i've been a jw all my life and am thoroughly convinced this is the truth.
but there is one thing that i just don't understand.
many jw's believe that people who get resurrected in the new system will not get married.
Just angels don't need sex.

however, after reviewing letters of family going back to wwii, it is fascinating to read what dad was doing on board the aircraft carrier in the pacific on any old day, what mom was cooking on her ever-steaming range, how i was dealing with the roller coaster of emotion at bethel [mom saved all my letters], how nana wrote that she would not study with the witnesses [per my request] but 'here are some mittens i knitted for you when you canvass new york with your magazines.
I just did something I didn't do in over 30 years.

I decided to go see my sister in St-Jérome. I brought my mom along. She's happy to see her daughter. I ate a yummy junior whopper and fries. Went to their local mall, and saw a blood dive. Sorry I can't give any blood before April 16th...

would you rather work in a unionized or non-unionized environment?
the place where i work recently voted 'no', we don't want a union in here (after being harassed by a very large union for the last 5 years).
there were some who voted 'yes', but the majority of us voted 'no' and those that were pro-union are quite pissed off that the rest of us 'fail to see the light'.
Pro of course !
The jobs I occupied with a union, I had over 20 bucks an hour, and jobs I had that were non unionized I earned less than 10 an hour. The less you're paid, the more you work too....the less vacations you get....and the more the boss steps on you.
