The experiments began in July 1961, three months after the start of the trial of German Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann in Jerusalem. In other words, "Was there a mutual sense of morality among those involved?" The first two paragraphs of that "QFR" are virtually word-for-word from the Wikipedia article on "Fortune cookie" only the order of the two paragraphs is switched:

The truly bizarre aspect of this line of "reasoning" is that it takes personal responsibility for knowing and doing what is right, true and correct away from the individual and supposedly makes the GB accountable while reducing this individual, personal responsibility down to a simple slogan, "Listen, Obey and Be Blessed!" (Sound familiar?) Listen to us even when we are wrong; obey us even when our directions are capriciously changeable and damaging to yourself and your personal relationships.
Where are these promised blessings? Oh, I know! Evidently, they are coming .... "soon!"
BTW, have you noticed? The GB are NEVER held accountable for teaching wrong/incorrect/false doctrines. Why aren't they disfellowshipped for apostasy? Or at least removed?
An elder once said, "There can never be a good reason for doing a wrong thing." If that is true, then there can never be a "good reason" for blindly following a teaching that one knows or even suspects is wrong.
over the past 8 months or so three people i have known since childhood have accomplished a goal of reinstatement back into their congregations after many years of being disfellowshipped primarily so that they could gain their jw family members back and do away with the condemnation of onlookers judging those family members and the contact they have had during those years of being disfellowshipped.. all of these newly reinstated ones immediately began a proper fade.
no meetings, no service, nada.. is this happening everywhere and regularly?.
The elders felt duped and were angry when she just stopped meetings as soon as she was reinstated. ... Elders can be vindictive when they think they have been fooled into reinstating someone.
They should be upset. Holy Spirit let them down.

Besides that fact that "mostly true" also means: At least partially false; there is the glaring problem that your friend's conclusion does not follow from his premise.
Me, I like my Truth unchanging and my "accurate knowledge" to be accurate. But that's just me.
With JWs those are just slogans that don't actually mean anything.
in an effort to keep their delusion alive it is only natural for them hate something that lifts the vails of their delusion and lay it barren.
their hate is transfered to the faithful rank and file and manifested in their forbidding it to the young who will surely see the ignorance of their delusion.
narcissistic delusions of divine appointment are resisted at the expense of the young.. they hate higher education to the same extent they hate psychiatry because both tread on their delusion and identify it in clear terms..
