Funny story about VeniceIT
by Mulan inby popular demand, i am yielding to pressure, to tell a story about our very own veniceit.. in march, venice and her parents were visiting us here in washington state, and we all had dinner at our daughter's home one evening.
(my daughter posts here as princess) princess's son, 4 years old, was quite taken with venice and was showing her around the house.

by Big Jim init seems like to me the majority of people who are in the truth, are were in the truth was a result of either a family member are a friend witnessing to them and not many seem to have been found in the door to door work.. from my years of associating with the borg i cannot recall many coming in the truth from the door to door work.. how were you sucked in?
for me it was my aunt who has now even though i am not disfellowshipped decided to write me out of her will to the tune of about $150,000.00 (maybe i should hang around a couple more years)dont think i will.. please respond .

My Brother-in-law, whom I've NEVER met ( he refuses to meet a worldy guy like me, so I guess the first time I'll see him is at Papi's funeral), one day when my wife was about 14 he came home and announced that they were all Jehovah's Witnesses now (from being inactive catholics). SOOOO, all the kids started attending KH,all 7 of em. One died of AIDS but was reinstated from a DA before his death, and the brother in Law, Hiram, are the only ones who stayed active, all the rest have fallen away YEAAA!

Free literature?
by Andyman ini haven't been over here for a long time, looks pretty busy.. i am in a discussion on another board about the "donation" arrangement.
the jw's claim "all" literature is free, and nobody id pressured into "donating" for what they take from the hall.. now in my old congregation that wasn't so.
we were reminded all the time about "donations" and making sure we asked for donations in the field service.

FREDDIE, the context of this is NOT in giving money but sharing the gospel, come on dude.
As to the cost of the magazines, I used to be a printer, to print a mag the quality of the Watchtower and Awake would run about .40 including labor costs, and since the JW's don't have labor costs I'd say it would be a bit less.
CD's can be stamped out for a buck or so a piece, so forty dollars is no where NEAR the cost for these yahoos, their aiming at a 2000% mark up.
