  How The Weather Does Change

  here in nc it has changed from snow to summer in a week.

  it is 81 degrees today.

  all the fruit trees will bloom and then freeze, if it is like a normal spring here.

  After 10 months of fading, the elders are gonna pay me a visit....

  i have been fading since the middle of last year.

  if it wasn't for my wife being a devoted dub, i probably would not go to the meetings.

  i go to around 65%-75% of the meetings.

  Thoughts are with you ASmith. Just becareful with the wife, she could turn on you. Its too bad that this religion is one where your relationship with your loved ones has to come second or third.

  How fanatic were you as a dub?

  when you look back to your jw days, what actions did you do, that you would consider fanatic today?.

  i remember being on my night shift (midnight to eight) and went in the field service at 9am.

  i got home from work, washed changed cloths and went straight to the field service meeting, and spent all morning in the service up to noon.

  I was very fanatic, or your could say overly righteous. I would think bad of the "brothers and sisters" when they would small talk about stuff I thought was innapropriate. I remember being out in service and I was with 4 pioneers they were all talking about having sex in the afternoon after service. I was shocked so I told my ex what we talked about in service. Then next week the asshole made a talk about it. I was devestated and made them mad at me. I hated him for that.

  i stopped praying when my elder ex would pack the kids in the car and say if i didnt go to the meeting then i wouldnt see them again.

  WOW Flower.........Just WOW. You really got me thinking. Its stuff like that and other things I have thought about deeply That make me feel like I am doing the right thing. Howere there is the guilt thing.

  I havent prayed in years. I quit praying while I was still going to meetings. I stopped praying when my elder ex would pack the kids in the car and say if I didnt go to the meeting then I wouldnt see them again. I remember being disgusted when a couple I knew split up. I knew he was an elder and she was a pioneer. Which was my situation at the time. I remember seeing that sister after it was announced that she was DA I wanted to talk to her so bad, but she would see me on the street and avoid me. I stopped praying when I thought of meetings and got naused. I guess I remember all those years praying and I was so unhappy. I get uncomfortable when people around me say prayers and talk about god. I think I may be turning athiest.

  Thanks for letting me vent. I hope you all understand how I feel.

  Just plain rude!

  we went to a chinese restaraunt this weekend.

  the whole experience started off bad.

  the minute we walked in, the waitreses looked me up and down and started talking chinese loudly to each other.

  Mary, thats what I was thinking. The restroom was filthy. Besides they shouldnt have anything to hide and a visit from a health inspector would be doing all patrons who go there a favor.

  Exactly my point! I dont care what language they speak, but she spoke it in a rude tone and looked at me while she was speaking it. I know spanish and i would never do that to anyone. It just plain rude.
