  If man evolved?

  i know anyone who believes in evolution is going to say that there is no 'if' about it.

  however.... if man evolved over hundreds of thousands of years ago, why were there only about 200-300 million people alive 2,000 years ago?

  surely there'd have been many billions by then?.

  James you were clearly annoyed you had to write the small paragraph with lots of line breaks in it. But, focusing on one post where you were called out and asked to write your opinion is no way to debate. You are sounding like a whiny and broken record.

  Man and dinosaurs coexisted before the flood and the Grand Canyon is new... I remember Coyne mentioning in his book how there are people that cannot be reached by any fact or by any logical thought process.

  I noticed that even after I offered the name of the book to Lost, the comment was that it better not be too deep on science. How do people argue against something they don't understand? It makes no sense. Everyone deserves an opinion. But show some self respect and foresight. Don't argue about things you haven't actually studied. Go read a few good books on the topic, then argue logically why you deny the evidence presented. Don't just repeat things that are inaccurate that you hear other people say.

  i have been reading post on this forum for many months and i wanted to thank you all for all the great posts and comments that have really helped me get through this hard year of fading.

  my husband and i where born in jdubs and almost 1 year ago we started to fade , now that we think about it has been a few years that we were suffering from cognitive dissonance without knowing it.

  we feel that finally we have our life back , a life that is just starting.

  But Satan DIDNT lie!???

  why does the bible portray satan as this big liar, and that he is the father of the lie when he didn't lie?.

  But, mP it's quite clear. The bible really meant everyone. Whenever the bible says something we find impossible to attribute to God, we just decide what it "really" means.

  in a couple of hours i'm going to the doctor - an intervention.

  i don't want to be a burdon to my mother, she has her own life to lead with her own responsibilities.

  i've always been able to take care of everything for myself.

  i was thinking about this today when i was mowing the grass.

  when you look at the picture the borg always show of armageddon everything is destoryed.

  i mean nothing left everything gone.

  I agree, but from their standpoint god will provide. He did manna in the bible so he will do miracles for them. I mean if he causes Armageddon then he can give them food and shelter.

  But, I do find the whole premise silly.

  Don't let the name put you off. It's a very well written scientific book that starts with basics and explains the many different facets involved with adaptations and evolution.
