BETHELITES - Whatever Became of?

i often times wonder what happened to certain bethelites that i ran around with during my 1990s tenure there.

while there are still a few left there, the greater majority of them aren't there for various reasons (marriage, disillusionment, left the borg, etc).

a couple of cats i wonder about - there was one brother who i believe was from kansas, who got his fingers cut off in a printing press.

so i have been told that all kingdom halls are to have a large jw.org sign placed prominently out the front..... can anyone confirm this?.

done4good - this is exactly what ai was trying to get across. If you want to be completely truthful " if you have to hide who you really are around JWs, (and this is NOT judging those who are fading, I know there are many good and important reasons to do so), what could be "playing their game" any more than that?".

OnTheWayOut - I also understand what you are saying and it is very true.

The problem is that there are some people here who constantly try to make it seem as if someone writing a letter is somehow playing the WTBTS game when nothing could be further from the truth.

According to the link above if they purchased it for 1,000,000 they overpaid by an extreme amount. Although that is just the estimated value.

Then again it is waterfront. Who knows

I would also like to know the institution in that area that handles transactions so we can find the info pertaining to who purchased it.

Was it a watchtower Corp purchase or someone has it in their name etc... any info to support would prove helpful

Make your moves and don't look back. Set and reach your goals so when you are 40 you have a clear path and can focus on the important things in life.

We ther you write a letter or fade is your choice. I think you are smart enough to determine the benefits of each option. If you want to left completely alone by the cancerous organization then you know your path. If you need to linger for some reason then you have another option.

Ultimately moving on and leaving this completely in your past should be the goal. Much luck and success to you.
