friday night is indian night in our house, but i'm getting a bit board of the same curry each week, useally a tikka masala.. anyone have a suggestion on a curry i should try for a change ?
Bombay Aloo
1 lb small new potatoes
4 fl oz yoghurt
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 cup corn oil
2 fresh green chillies
2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
3/4 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
2 ground bay leaves
salt
Boil the potatoes until 3/4 done.
Mix the yogurt, sugar, turmeric, ground coriander, garam masala and bayleaves.
Dip the potatoes into the yogurt mix with a fork and then put in the hot oil.
Cover and cook for 10'15 mins until tender.
Add the chopped fresh chilles and stir carefully.
Mix the fresh coriander into any remaining yogurt and pour over.
Cook for further 5 mins then serve, salting to taste.

well, i've finally had it.
i'm da'ing myself, along with a piece of my fam.
the unbaptised ones are refusing to go with my father now, and even my still devout father is leaning towards our opinion on things.. there wasn't even any screaming when i called the jw's the great hypocrisy last nite.. i just can allow myself to be associated with them in any way.
ashi..good luck and just think, you can catch up on all those holidays you and your family missed. You can even give mom a nice present on Mother's day now, not to mention get extra nice with your prettier half on Valentines day, coming soon BTW. Oh and I almost forgot birthdays, my only advice is not to overdo it, or you'll end up like me...(see pic to the left) hehehhehe...

how many of us would like to see wts brought to task for encouraging us to "go where the need is greater" and then not supporting our efforts or trying to subvert them by all means of organizational rules and regulations after our having gone through much pain and trouble to relocate our family and have suitable employment?.

Look what happened to Ray Franz..he spent all those years abroad in places that probably didn't have running water. Not only did he get some awfull diseases that hurt him much later in life, but he got a swift kick in the ass without the pat on the back after many years of service.
i think i had a vision the other night..or at least the after effects of staying up for too many hours in a row...there i was in my dream walking along and i came across this big house with a big dog on the porch reading a book.
i went up to the house and the dog told me to take my shoes off if i wanted to go in.
i did and walked into the house to find any number of freakish looking people/creatures talking and doing chores and eating and hanging out.
