I wouldn't put any trust in anything on those Reddits. They are just a bunch of immature negative nellies. Mainly kids who complain about the meetings and field service.

Reddit thread on convention video urging cutting off contact with Faders
by LongHairGal ini just read this.
don’t know if anybody here has seen the video.. the intended result of this is to obviously scare ‘faders’ out of the shadows.
now, they are being threatened with loss of association with their loved ones and friends.

Admonishment to the Governing Body of the Watch Tower Society By - YHWH
by EisMe inadmonishment to the governing body of the watch tower society.
to the governing body of jehovah’s witnesses: you have presented yourselves as god’s appointed messengers, yet nowhere in scripture does god declare your authority as his chosen representatives.
by falsely claiming divine appointment, you have led many into spiritual bondage, deceiving them into believing you alone have the truth.. misuse of donated labor & financial deception.

"If you want to send the Governing Body your prophetic pronouncements directly,"
Exactly Balaamsass, I don't understand why people go on these forums and make youtube videos and hope things will change when instead if they have good ideas, they should instead write to the Governing Body themselves.
Is that because they want to join the crowd? -

Is Belief in Jesus Enough to be Saved? Or Does it Include Believing Jesus?
by Sea Breeze ini don't think it is possible to believe in jesus and then not believe what he said.
the purpose of the watchtower organization is to take as many people to hell as possible.
they do this by tricking people into rejecting the bare minimum requirements for the free gift of salvation that jesus offered to ”whosoever”.. one of the stipulations for salvation is belief that jesus was raised from the dead:.

"The Watchtower and every JW that I have spoken with denies that Jesus raised himself from the dead."
Because a dead person can not raise himself from the dead. If he could he would not be dead. There is your paradox.
"Was Jesus lying?" No, you just misinterpret one of his many cryptic statements.
"No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. - John 10: 18"That is not his resurrecting himself.
Actually he didn't have the power to lay down his life. He did it because his Father prophesied it and he had the power to take it up again because his Father prophesied it. His power to take it back came from his obedience.
"Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up .... he spake of the temple of his body. When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this - John 2: 19-22"
That's not a correct quote.
"Jesus replied to them: “Tear down this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”
20 The Jews then said: “This temple was built in 46 years, and will you raise it up in three days?”
21 But he was talking about the temple of his body."
Jesus did not say what was in vs 21. Notice how that was in the 3rd person? John wrote that in retrospect, not Jesus. Was John correct?
Was John saying the temple that was raised up was his body? It seems that the temple that Jesus referred to that would be torn down was his body when it died. But what he referred to that would be raised up was not his body, but the spiritual temple. That was put in action by his offering the value of his blood to his father in the 3 days.
With his blood being offered as a sacrifice how could his body be raised without blood in it? -

Zechariah 12:10 Corruption in the NWT
by Sea Breeze inhere's a question for those who still support watchtower on this forum.
why did watchtower leave out the word "me" in zech.
zechariah 12:10 reads like this: .
-
Rattigan350
Why dont' you just look in the index.
W53 8/15 that tells why.
The reason that Jehovah stated 'me' eventhough he referred to Jesus as the one that would be pierced is because many times he puts himself in the place of Jesus because he can't talk about Jesus yet.
John the Baptizer said he was the one to "Prepare the way of Jehovah! Make his roads straight"
Isaiah couldn't say clear up the way of Jesus because there was no Jesus as of yet.

Define Watchtower Organaization?
Watchtower is a corporation and a magazine name. How can it be an organization?
Since hell is simply the state of being dead, by your statement they are trying to kill everyone."free gift of Salvation" - how about defining that.
As of this time only the 144,000 have been saved by their being resurrected in the first resurrection. Everyone else who has died is still in hell/hades/sheol. They will start being resurrected at Rev 20:13
As for those alive today, if we are saved, what are we saved from? Death? No, people still die.
"Jehovah’s Witnesses dutifully repeat the Watchtower opinion that Jesus was not resurrected."
No, we don't repeat the Watchtower's opinion on that.
We repeat what Peter said in 1 Peter 3:18 "He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit."
John 20:14 "she [Mary] had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus."
vs 15 "She, supposing him to be the gardener,"
So, not Jesus was not resurrected in his body. He appeared in many bodies.
John 2:19 does not mean that Jesus raised himself from the dead. If he were able to raise himself, he would not be dead. It's that simple. The dead are dead and can not raise themselves.
Acts 2:32 "This Jesus hath God raised up". Peter disagrees with you again.
"Jehovah’s Witnesses also reject the new covenant “for the forgiveness of sins” that Jesus offered to “whosoever” in Mt. 26: 27–28"
No, JWs recognize that the New Covenant replaced the old covenant but the parties were the same but were changed from physical to spiritual.Israel was changed to spiritual Israel. Human mediator Mose was changed to Jesus being mediator as spirit being.
Again Peter disagree with you in 1 Peter 2:9 he transfers the old covenant promise to the New Covenant.

6 billion people to bury who rejected Witnesses
by Witness 007 inso i guess the "paradise" earth is going to be stinky to the point of vomiting with 6 billion dead bodies of not witnesess.
how long would it take to bury these people?
maybe 2 years.
-
Rattigan350
The 60 billion resurrected ones will help.
164,383 will be raised each day and the 144,000 and Jesus will handle all of that.

Remember using the term BORG to refer to the WTS
by blondie init's interesting that when watchtower is referred to as the borg, it immediately brings to mind the scenes where individuals such as captain piccard are held prisoner within a vast collective hive type prison and unable to leave.
they are then turned into drones.
in fact here is how wikipedia explains it.. the borg are a fictional alien group that appear as recurring antagonists in the star trek franchise.
-
Rattigan350
No, Blondie.
The term "Borg" was used because it was a short form of Brooklyn ORGanization.
And it stuck because it fit the Borg hive mind.
But then I prefer the 3 Musketeers as they say "One for All and All for One."

new WT rule: no holding hands durning public prayer!
by leftchica inso i just caught a glimpse of this new wt magazine(study edition) of course.. from dec 28th titled.
"what do your prayers say about you".
so now they are focosing on every aspect of our lifes even our actions during prayer.
-
Rattigan350
"teaching has long been forgotten about. In fact it was forgotten about by most members only a few months after this WT was studied."
Isn't that how everything is?
What was this? 16 years ago? No one follows that since.
"Elders hold their wives' hands during prayer. Sisters who are friends hold each others' hands. "As long as brothers don't hold each others' hands. -

WT AUGUST 2025: NEW LIGHT ON HAILSTONE MESSAGE : IS IT BIBLICAL OR JUST CONVENIENT?
by raymond frantz inhttps://youtu.be/n_fttvylm-m?si=l44406ohysubkajr.
so today we are considering, the watchtower's new take on the "hailstone message", and if you don't know what that is , they used to believe that according to revelation 16:21 they would be preaching a hard hitting message during the time of the end.
now, let's read the verse first from the new world translation: "then great hailstones, each about the weight of a talent, fell from heaven on the people, and the people blasphemed god because of the plague of hail, for the plague was unusually great" now this is their new understanding as it appears from the 3rd paragraph from their new watchtower study edition for august 2025 and their article:when will the preaching work end, has this to say: "our clarified understanding of matthew 24:14 also adjusts our understanding of the hailstonelike message foretold at revelation 16:21. further examination has revealed that the two scriptures complement each other.

The End of the Times of the Gentiles and the Restoration of the Kingdom
by EisMe inthe end of the times of the gentiles and the restoration of the kingdom.
the final stage of god’s plan on earth.
the fulfillment of prophecy: the end of the gentile age.

"Revelation 5:10 states: "You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign upon the earth." This verse suggests that those chosen by God will serve as both kings and priests, exercising authority and spiritual leadership on earth."
The word for 'upon' is EPI. That can mean on or upon or over.
What is the whole point of the kingdom of the heavens if they won't reign from the heavens?
Also, what is the point of John 14:2,3 "In the house of my Father are many dwelling places. Otherwise, I would have told you, for I am going my way to prepare a place for you. Also, if I go my way and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will receive you home to myself, so that where I am you also may be"
That shows that Jesus is resurrected to heaven and then he cleanses the heavens (prepares a place for them). What is the point if the rulership will be established on this earth?Well, there will be earthly rulers too, the princes.
"2 Samuel 7:12-13—"I will raise up your offspring to succeed you... and I will establish his kingdom." This implies that governance is restored on earth, just as promised to David."That is Nathan's promise from Jehovah that David's offspring will sit on Jehovah's throne forever. That was to lead to Christ. First it was Solomon and then his descendants. One sitting on Jehovah's throne is a sovereign ruler. That Sovereignty was lost at the time of Jehoiakim when Babylon attacked and that started the times of the Gentiles until 1914. Then Jesus became king. It is obvious that it was not on earth as it was in heaven.
That promise to David wasn't about earthly or heavenly. It was just that his descendant would sit on Jehovah's throne leading to Jesus.
It's so odd that the general population thinks that they will go to heaven and they don't know why and what they will do there. And they think that Jesus is coming back to the earth but they don't know why.
This has nothing to do with the Faithful and discreet slave. They would be ruling with Jesus in heaven.
The purpose of the 144,000 going to heaven to be kings and priests with Jesus is that they have a big job.
1000 years is 365,000 days. If 60 billion people will be resurrected, then that means that 164,383 people will be resurrected each day. It is a little more than 1 person per the 144,000 each day. So they will be busy each day just judging people during the resurrection. That can't be done on earth as humans.
