Unfortunately, doctors are out for me. I would have to report it to the various organizations I work for and it would be the end of me financially. I am thinking of taking a year off and getting things straight.

Honesty
by Defianttruth inas part of my journey, i have realized i must heal myself.
this has brought me to to the point where i am analyzing myself so i can improve.
as i sit here looking into my soul, i can say, "i am not proud of what i see.".

I am deceptive.
I am turning inward and becoming a hermit.
I am distancing myself from the ones I love. It is not intentional and the more I fight it the more this trait is accentuated.
I am hateful at times to people and I do not like myself for it.
I focus on my own hurt and let those around me down.
I feel lonely, but when someone calls to talk it is a drag.
I keep searching for bottom, but it feels like quick sand sucking me down with no bottom insight and the harder I kick the faster I sink.

My latest university experience...
by Billy the Ex-Bethelite inthis isn't a jw experience, but for those of you that have been following my life, i thought i'd have a drink and share this strange event in my post-jw life.. for you wonderful newbies, you can catch up on highlights of my story in the few threads i've started here.
i'm finishing the junior year of my engineering degree and the classes are hard as hell.
i used to be among the smartest students in the room until i hit the 300 level university courses.

Billy, remember it is just's class. The hardest class I ever took was thermal dynamics. I think it was 300 level, but that was a long time ago. My brain just didn't like the subject. I did pass. Guess what, no one has ever asked me, "how'd ya do in thermal dynamics." the real world of engineering is about as far from 300 level classes as it can be. All this does is allow you to sit for and pass your PE. Everything else is mental masturbation.

My next door niehgbor is a Col. Who is in intelligence. I asked him about the whole NK situation. His report was this. NK has enough fuel to fly their airplanes for about a day. They have about 700 ships. Most are landing ships. Only three big boats. So after 1 day the airforce is done and after 15 min the navy is done. After one day, the navy and airforce are useless. Ground troops and military would take less than a week. We then give the land back top China and let them manage the rebuild.

Do Nigerians really have bad reputation?
by His Excellency inon a recent thread here about an announcement made by the cobe, with the aim of extorting 10 grand from the servant body, different allegations were made that the request sound nigerian?..

my question is, do nigerians really have bad reputation?.

Experience of Nigeria. We land in a small airplane owned by a contract company, taxi up to waiting line of armored trucks disembark into waiting trucks surrounded by armed ex military contractors with serious voices who race into said cars and speed away. We take twisting random routes through some of the worst images of poverty and filth one could imagine. Race into a walled modern compound surrounded by well trained former military men who are well armed. Do a little bit of work, and run the gantlet in reversed. I was there for 82 hrs and was terrified the whole time. I have never worked harder or better in my life. It was an adrenalin rush.

North Korea - U.S - War ?
by *lost* inthings look to be hotting up here.
scary.. what are the chances of it all kicking off ?.

No china would love the land but would never mess with the South. The trade relations between the two are huge. China is smart and would not try to take the South and destroy the current trade agreements.

My neighbor is a Col. In military intel. We were talking about dprk after Easter. He told me it would take 15 min to sink all the offensive vessels in the north Korean Navy. The North Koreans only have enough fuel reserve for Airforce for one day. Once allied air dominance is established it should take fewer than 4 days to cut the head off of the snake. Then if we are smart we look at china and say here's your newest state of the Chinese Republic.

VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA | The Age newspaper | March 15, 2013 | Jehovah's Witnesses a 'cruel cult'
by jwleaks inthe age newspaper | fairfax media | friday, march 15, 2013. jehovah's witnesses a 'cruel cult'.
http://www.theage.com.au/national/jehovahs-witnesses-a-cruel-cult-20130315-2g5x3.html.
christian sect the jehovah's witnesses - with 64,000 active 'disciples' in australia - are a cruel religion with no soul, according to melbourne cultbuster raphael aron.. his warning comes as the federal government considers tightening the definition of a charity to prevent some cults and quasi-religions keeping their tax free status.

I too ask about the shuning policy to the rank and file when I see them. They always say, "no". I always pull out my smart phone and show them this. http://www.jw.org/en/jehovahs-witnesses/faq/shunning/. I have them read aloud so everyone there knows they are lying and I walk away. Shuts em up and they clear out of the area.

just heard that it is possible to make a gun using a 3d printer is this star trek or what?
by 20yearfader inon the radio today i heard that it is possible to make toys and guns using a 3d printer.is everything in star trek becoming reality?give some examples of things that we use today that were thought up on the star trek series..

These printers cost more than 20 AR15s. You could kill more people with a bat than a plastic AR. The neat thing is in the near future we could need a side mirror for our car. Instead of going to the dealer to get the part, we will drive to the print shop and have a licensed part printed.
