i have just being told that the judicial committee has decided to disfellowship me and that i have a week to appeal if i decide to do so.
the reason: "apostasy".

Please forgive me...!!
by ELON14 ini'm new here and this is the first post i make (i promise that more will come).
i have been following most of the posts made here quietly for about 4 months and i would like to thank all of you who are called apostates for the well documented and researched material you have presented here.thanks to you i know now the truth about the wt organization and i'm no longer blind and misled.
i disassociated myself about 2 months ago after 15 years of very "faithful" service to the society.i was regular pioneer for 12 years and an elder for 8 years, i served mainly as the service overeer.my experience was published in the 2 of the society's magazins.. as i was a very zealous and prominent elder in my circuit i zealously promoted the organizational rules and i allowed myself to be fully used by the society to promote those mind controle techniques that now i know hurt those who were my sheep.

alone these horrible stories about armageddon must scare the hell out of everyone who was brought up with it or who was in the org for several years.
hell even to me they sound really frightning and i don't believe in this nonsense.. secondly you loose most of all of your friends!.

For me, I had no real close friends in the Borg, except for one....for 26 years. When I discovered the truth behind the Borg (combined with a zealous elder who would not let me fade and who felt compelled to harass me to do the will of the Borg...wrong move), I had to make a decision for the emotional and physical health of myself, as well as that of my elderly mother (who lives with me). This had to be placed above the friendship....a friendship which proved to be a very conditional friendship since she, and her non-believing husband, are now shunning me.
I have no love for the false prophet Watchtower...which is putting it mildly...because of the evil that is behind it!
Praise be to Jesus that I finally saw the light....

How Many Here Have Been Shunned?
by Reborn2002 inas most of you already know, the jehovah's witnesses are covering an article in their august kingdom ministry to be discussed the weeks of 8/19 and 8/26 which details how they are to shun and avoid those who are no longer members of their organization, even immediate family members.. .
undoubtedly this article has been written to reinforce to the rank&file jehovah's witnesses the shunning policy, so as to tighten the ranks and prevent members from having the opportunity to learn the abundant contradictions and hypocrisies found within watchtower doctrine and practice from any who may have left.. this policy also serves to divide families and attempt to shame or abuse those whom have chosen to no longer be jehovah's witnesses, for whatever reason.. that much is obvious.
in recent days this topic has been discussed in detail in various threads.

I'm even being shunned by my best friend's (current JW) husband who isn't even a JW!!!! My guess is that if he ever found out the REAL truth about the "troof", he wouldn't want to rock the boat. Ignorance is bliss so they say. Better that my 26-year friendship with him and his wife become the sacrificial lamb instead of his marriage. Now that's a real loving friendship isn't it.

the latest round of "new light" in the recent km has reversed the rules and once again my family has been told to shun me.
i da'd in my early 20's after being very active since childhood and have been out of the "borg" now for nearly 18 years.. i look forward to reading and posting as i get more familiar with the names here.. rgw.

he has a heart condition and needs to drink red wine (something in the wine that actually helps his heart) every now and then.
irony being...he was an alcoholic.
