The Exodus confirmed..
by Crazyguy infor those of you that don't research this stuff i will give a little back story.
we all know about the moses exodus, but history and archeology didn't seem to confirm this event.
the only exodus out of egypt ever recorded was that of a group of asiatic tribes that had taken over egypt for a bit over 100 years called the hyksos and the followers of the pharaoh akhenaten who perpetuated a monotheistic idea of worshiping only one deity the aten.

The article refers to Bob Brier and he has always maintained it was the Reed Sea. He's a great archaeologist.
So the article mainly argues for Ramses II's successor as the Pharaoh during the exodus.
I have no particular opinion on this.
Anyone?

I am a Sceptical Rationalist, and an Atheist, yet I have Faith !
by Phizzy ini lead an evidence based life, in that, if i have to make a decision over buying something, or a certain course of action, i will look at the evidence.. if someone tells me something is true, i examine the evidence, using critical thinking skills.. and yet i have faith, not faith as some have, believing that something is true without satisfactory evidence, but i have faith that all humans are of equal value, that the right way to live is doing the most good and the least harm, that love is better than hate, that peace is better than war.. so, i am a sceptical, rational, humanist, atheistic person of faith..

JWs, UFO's, demons, and the book "The Dark Gods"
by MikeHammer ini have been looking into this issue that (many/most/all/etc) ufos are caused by demons as seems to be said by jws.
some time ago when i browsed this site i read a posting where someone recommended a book titled "the dark gods" by roberts and gilbertson (here is a link to the book at amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/dark-gods-anthony-roberts/dp/009138771x).. besides that one there are a couple of other books that i have checked (one of these is "operation trojan horse" by john keel and the other one is "a guide to the paranormal" by magnus raven).
both of these say the same thing although they approach this issue from different directions.. looking at the amazon reviews for "the dark gods" it looks like it also says the same thing but the book is out of print.

Speaking of Mike Hammer,, from Kiss Me Deadly (1955)
Friday: Who are you?
Mike Hammer: Who am I? Who are you?
Friday: I'm Friday. I'd have been named Tuesday if I'd been born on Tuesday. I'm Carl's sister, half-sister. Same mother, different father. You know, you're not like the others - Carl's friends, I mean.
Mike Hammer: Maybe that's because I'm not his friend.
Friday: Oh, wonderful. Then you can be my friend, all mine; nothing to do with Carl.

The money question...
by Tornintwo ini am intrigued to know if there is truly any evidence of financial irregularities in the jehovah's witness organisation or if any one or group are raking off funds or benefitting financially...?.
whilst i disagree wholeheartedly with most of their teachings and practices, dogmatism, legalism and superiority complex, i don't honestly think there's anyone making millions at the top.
yes you could say that the gb are comfortably off, don't have to pay bills etc but they do actually get up in the morning and 'work', they aren't going off in private jets to tropical islands or driving bentleys.

Supposed to be "working" in Brooklyn - nice house in CA.
Rutherford had a private dining room on the 7th floor in NY Bethel with a private elevator (Moyle Trial)
He also had a separate house on the Watchtower farms (Moyle letter)
Not in the pay scale for a man who was never a Judge in his life.
Technically he was a stand in judge for a single short stretch but that did not merit him taking the title of judge I think.
Russell did not want him to be his successor.
Seems to be the case. Paul S. L. Johnson thought he was the man, however he was a bit crazy in the end.
BTW Rutherford had two cars (Cadillac's) and not five. A coupe and a convertible. You gotta be accurate about these things.

Hello Calebs Airplaine,
Nice picture. Got any evidence for this funneling of assets by the WBTS through the Cook islands?

No bionics. I do walk with a slight bobble head effect now though. Irritates my bird.
Well I hope you improve/recover over the next few weeks/months.
In the meantime... Here's some rather sordid unrelated bird humor.

I found proof of evolution in a very simple and easy to read 192 page publication.
Or Nuclear physicist man can even play some Spore

I didn't know Nuclear Physicists specialized in Paleontology.
Now Nuclear Physics man says in the article:
"Not only is the second law of thermodynamics “a powerful argument against chemical evolution,” van der Ventel stated, but the very dating methods evolutionists cite are mostly supported by assumptions—not physics."
Nuclear Physics man is not Chemist man because he does not know about DKS (Dynamic Kinetic Stability). DKS is in full harmony with the second law of thermodynamics. Perhaps he should rather go split an atom or read some more Genesis.
Or better yet, look at some Terminator Genysis.
