Do you think they counted the visit as time?
Of course, silly me.
a couple of middle aged jw sisters dropped round unannounced the other day, they were only being kind i suppose, after some awkward silences i voiced a couple of my issues with the religion, (the safe ones), sort of an explanation as to why i'm no longer attending, namely: everyone else will die, lack of support for young ones, mistreatment/judgementalism by prominent ones who get away with it because 'they're imperfect and we have to wait on jehovah' etc.
well, after sympathizing and telling me horror stories about awful elders and their own kids' issues in the past (how some left the truth, had bitter divorces from fellow witnesses etc) they then begged me to 'come back to jehovah', 'he misses me' apparently.
finally, the more pushy one summed it up with 'you're thinking too much, it's not good for you', 'some issues you just have to put in a drawer and forget about....'.. hmm nice reasoning sisters, theocratic school training at its finest!
Do you think they counted the visit as time?
Of course, silly me.
absolutely disgusting!.

Does this sound like a man who is inspired by God?
No. He sounds like an idiot.
i have in the past micro dosed on iboga, shrooms, i can tell you that they work a lot of good brain activity and even generate new brain cells.
it also starts redirecting neuron to fire different pathways promotes good neuron health a kind inner brain massage which in the process brings up old forgotten memories stored ages ago and sorta reprocesses them in a new light of the present.
this stuff iboga is genuinely good but you have to treat it with respect and do you homework of finding out how to best use it.. have a look at some of these vids perhaps briefly skim them and then picture the gb doing the stuff and what would happen.

If they went on an Ebola Trip - I'm in.
surely someone who eagerly looks forward to the death of billions of people (including babies and children) is not emotionally healthy?.
yet, that is the key belief "happily" anticipated by witnesses.... food for thought?.
i am jehovah's witness, despite some of the questionable teachings, crimes, and other outlandish behaviors of specific people affiliated with the religion.
i know that my relationship with jehovah is not influenced by any outside factors.
i do not condone any crime.
Earlier in this thread: We frequented a spot in the car just to smoke marijuana. Lol. Yes, I know I am unconventional in relation to the rest of the religions beliefs but Jah knows my heart. It's only a plant
Then later: ......I just wanted to start a post that doesn't talk about sorrow, death, disfellowshiping, loneliness, etc. I don't mean to step on anyone's toes at all. Just here to be that one topic that isn't full of sadness.
so i studied with this guy who is now an elder in my moms hall.
she has cancer and is black and blue from it.
we are like real family so i invite him over for drinks and pizza.
When Jehovah's Witness elders take on that Watchtower personality of leadership they no longer are themselves, they are playing a role. Just as in the military: The higher an officers rank is, generally the more they will portray a caricature/role of that rank and their own personality will disappear. Also in organizations like corporations, CEO's and executives personalities disappear to be replaced by the image of the executive and so on. There are exceptions of course but that is how things generally are.
My point is that when you are playing a role, you are doing just that. How can you really and fundamentally connect with people if you are not being yourself? Because all you're really doing now is a job.

Praise Jah!!!!! You're my kind of witness. I hope there are many more of you.
Ah hahahahahahahahhaha. Oh ohohohohoh ...hahahahahahaha my sides.
Does the word 'troll' mean anything to you?
Ah hahahahahahahahahaha.... I'm sorry I'm out.

steve2 thank you. Just one thread is all I asked.
I'm going to start a thread on hominid evolution. I'll state that all I want is for people who are Young Earth Creationists on this forum to respect my personal desire and keep their comments to themselves. Just one thread is all I ask. Please Young Earth Creationists be reasonable and keep out of the thread.
That is how you sound.

"As the thread suggests, I am only going to respond to those who truly love Jehovah."
Well whether you choose to respond or not is irrelevant.
Here's why: This is a public forum. Probably the oldest Jehovah's Witness forum in existence today. You can trace threads back to over a decade. Some members on here have been here for 15 years+.
Exchanges on topics like these stay up for the public to see for a very very long time.
So if you don't answer, that's fine because the criticism then stands unopposed.
Also remember where you are: You are not on a pro-JW site and you are asking us not to participate if our comments do not dance to your particular tune just because its your personal decree. This is unreasonable and will be ignored.

Hi lovesjehovah,
Let me say you have quite a bit of courage. You are trying to promote something at a venue with a group of people who do not share your sentiment, and the reasons for this are quite simple:
1. Most of the people on this forum who have left the organization have experienced the Watchtower policy of shunning. They have lost friends and they have lost family and will probably never get to see or to communicate with them again. This makes many of US very upset.
2. Most of the witnesses who are still active on this forum feel the pressure to conform and cannot leave the organization for the above mentioned reason. As one rather well known lawyer (in ex-jehovah's witness circles anyway) has stated, I paraphrase: Many Jehovah's Witnesses are being held "hostage" within the Watchtower religion because of the shunning policy.
Perhaps a forum better suited to your point of view of: "Here we have a venue to discuss what we love about Jehovah." would be jwtalk. On that forum you will be among fellow believers who wholeheartedly share your sentiments.
Anyway if you can stand the heat in this kitchen, WELCOME and I hope to hear lots and lots from you.
Now to answer your question: What do we/I love about Jehovah?
1. Well he's decisive.
2. He's powerful.
3. Historically He certainly knows how to kill and His plan to murder 7 Billion people is grand indeed.
4. He created some fascinating living creatures including some very impressive bacteria and viruses.
Greetings
