  Please Accept My Most Heartfelt..........

  recently, i have had a few occasions when it's been neccessary - no, essential - that i say sorry to someone for something that i have said or done, in order that someone's hurt feelings are healed.. it doesn't make me feel demeaned at all when i say sorry, i don't feel any less of a person because i have apologised, although i am aware that some people find it almost impossible to apologise.. what do you think?

  is it a sign of weakness to apologise?

  is apologising a desirable thing?

  A heartfelt apology is a must in any relationship. Then one must show by our actions that our apology is genuine.

  i finally got my head out of my ass, got some things done, and most importantly i am no longer suffering withdrawal from the vicodin that i took for 3 months before and after my surgery.

  golly, that stuff is not good for you.

  causes depression, crying jags, bad tempers, etc.

  uk witnesses thought that armageddon had come last night, as much of the country was rocked by an earthquake - and we don't get earthquakes in england!

  the british geological survey says the epicentre of the earthquake was "right under the city of birmingham" - the land of farkel's ancestors.

  but people as far apart as south and west wales, northamptonshire, south yorkshire and oxfordshire felt the tremors which shook homes, broke windows and set off alarms at around 12.54am.

  The desire to return just for family's sake

  those of you who have close witness family members -- how hard has it been not to just throw up your hands and just return to the society, just for appearance's sake?

  my parents, whom i love very much, are witnesses, and it's very difficult for me to go day to day knowing that i'm completely letting them down.

  i no longer believe anything the society says, but oh how tempting it would be to just go back and fake my way through, knowing that i could give my parents peace.

  You have to be true to yourself my friend. I know it's far easier said than done, just try remember time heals all. In time they may come to accept your choices or you will come to accept theirs and it won't hurt as much.

  If you make this sacrifice for them, you will grow bitter and in the end you may end up hating your parents. While it is most loving for you to want to, it is not healthy to deny your own happiness for the sake of others, not even your parents. It will destroy you inside. In this life you cannot make everyone happy all the time but your own life is too short to not live happily.

  i can't say for certain that the two women who called at our door yesterday were jws but i would be incredibly surprised if they weren't.

  you know the witness walk, the bag, the clothes.

  the makeup ... everything about them screamed "witnesses".. so what did they want?.

  This is the exact approach used in Houston, Texas by the ASL group. There was always talk about how "Jehovah was focusing on the deaf". Makes me sick to think about now.

  Interesting side-point, I don't remember whether she was wearing a head-covering...

  The answer I got when I questioned that was that the sister doesn't have to because she is only interpreting or translating what a brother is saying and not actually the one giving the talk.
