  Americans On my Doorstep.

  yup, it's true, but these 2 americans are very welcome, because they have flown all the way from the usa just to come to my barbie!.

  now i'm not going to say who they are, it would be just 2 easy to do that, but they are certainly a joy 2 be with!!!.

  anyway, they have booked into a b & b next door, and will shortly be joining her ladyship and myself for a trip to the pub.. so all you uk'ers who are arriving for the barbie this sunday, you have been beaten to it by the us of a!.

  yes we do have problems within the organisation.... yes, some elders have been on a power trip for a long time.... yes, there have been many doctrinal changes..... why would witnesses on certain countries allowed to vote why people in the us cannot even harbor.

  the thought of voting.... i hope bill bowen does not get disfellowship...cause if he is he will no longer able to drum up supports among true diehard, dedicated witnesses to the cause.. most people up in here are deleberately bashing the organisation.... why?

  i don't know if this has been addressed before, but i was just wondering...can elders be reported to the police for stalking their members?

  i know you can report anything you like, but would it be taken seriously?

  you know, the stake-outs to see who's committing immorality, or waiting in your driveway till you get home to corner you about something, or even just showing up on your doorstep unannounced to ask it you still believe it's "the truth.".

  i just wanted to invite to the more than 1.500.000 jehovah's witnesses that speak spanish to visit the new page los testigos de jehov - la organizacin tras el nombre (jehovahs witnesses - the organization behind the name), there you can find the trascriptions of dateline and panorama fully traslated to spanish (not babelfish robot traslation, a real good traslation) please tell bill bowen about this cause spanish is the main language spoken by the jehovah's witnesses and where the numbers are growing, we too have abusers and as bill said in panorama we are not in the 23.720 list so we have to alert the people about these unfair policies, thank you.

  Kudos to whomever is running that website!! Please tell them they are doing a great job! I like the lay out of the site and all, very nice.

  Please also let me know if there is anything I can do to help out. I'm bilingual although only intermiate in translating but I'd like to help in whatever I can. The Spanish community must be reached!

  when you were a jw, remember those little things that made you happy on the inside but "sad" on the outside.

  for example, the meeting ending early or better yet, being cancelled.

  i recall a few years back the society was pushing sunday field service.

  Great post Roy! You just reminded me of how greatful I am not having to endure that crap anymore!

  I can't tell you the countless times I would have much rather have been doing something else than being out in service.

  In those days, there was a sister I looked up to. She didn't ever care to go to the movies, or watch television or anything else, all she wanted to do ever was be out in service. I would ask myself what was wrong with me. Why couldn't I be like this sister? Why was I such a terrible person, wanting to do other things instead of doing what was most important and be out in service?

  Now I realize there was nothing wrong with me. The problem was I was comparing myself to an unbalanced religious fanatic!

  Ok maybe there was something wrong with me because I had to be nuts to compare myself to this woman! I had to be nuts to not see what is so clearly evident.

  It still amazes me how clear everthing gets once you step back from it all.

  Hoorray for freedom! Hooray for deprogramming!

  Yes there are droves of them in Texas too and I think most everywhere. They are one community that most definately needs to be reached!! How do we reach them? What can we do?
