  Getting my feet wet

  i have been lurking here for about 3 months or so, and i guess i finally decided today to jump on in and join the board.

  i dont want to make this post too long, but just to give you all a background......i was born in 1975 to a jw mother and non believing father.

  Is Greg Stafford Disfellowshiped?

  i remember someone saying that an anouncement was going to be made at greg's kingdom hall about him being disfellowshiped tonight.. does anyone know if that happened?

  I contacted Greg via email myself because of problems I was having with Elihu books and my order that I placed back in January.

  I will not post his email address here, because I don't feel that would be appropriate but I found his email address at the channelc.com forum. Greg himself freely gave it out there.

  for a privileged few, you get an article with your lifes story published in the wt.

  most at least receive a grand send off with a kh memorial service.. my father passed away a couple of weeks ago.

  he was just shy of his 89th birthday.

  My first Mothers Day

  my oldest son is taking me out for lunch on sunday.. happy mother's day to all moms on this board.

  I just sent my Mother and my Sister Mother's day gifts for the first time in 6 years. It feels so good! And yet at the same time I feel so terrible for having let the borg, for 6 years, keep me from doing something for my mom on this special day.

  Very difficult position - Please help

  i've found myself in a very difficult position.

  with the .com bust and the recession i am having a very difficult time finding work.

  i have lived on savings and unemployment insurance for quite some time now, but im going to run out of savings at the end of this month.

  I'm much further South from you and I don't know anyone in Dallas. I wish I could help, I have been in your situation and if because of my leaving the Borg. I end up losing my husband, I may be in your shoes once again. I know something will come through for you, I wish I could do more. Hang in there and keep us updated.
