The charge later turned out to be unfounded. The elders refused to withdraw the warning. The Active Witness takes Watchtower to court and wins. Awarded 40,000 euros in damages. Watchtower appeals.

  God’s wisdom in allowing bearded JWs July 25 Watchtower

  the july 2025 watchtower has a paragraph that claims that it was the superior power and wisdom of jehovah that guided the gb into allowing jws to grow beards.. the study article is ‘can you still learn from basic bible teachings?’ under the subheading ‘jehovah is the creator’ paragraph 7 states-.

  Attending the memorial by Zoom is not a problem. You can use your own wine and bread/ matzes. That's allowed now.

  Special Talk just prior to the Memorial

  is the sunday special talk prior to the memorial just an introduction of a new outline for the sunday public talks?.

  is it an attempt to get the faders back to the meetings?

  they present in a way like some new light is going to be presented at the special talk..

  I attended the talk at Zoom.

  Nothing special. Light version of the jw.org I was used to.

  The use of simple language in speech and WT make it all seems like a simple people religion. I can't stand it.

  the gb seems to think that the rank and file came up the years 1914, 1925, 1975, generation (70-80 years from 1914=1994), overlapping generations.

  so this is from the brand new watchtower study edition of june 2025 which has just been posted on jw.org .under the title: modestly accept what you do not know, a let’s read paragraphs in question 4 &5: “read matthew 24:36. we do not know when the end of this system of things will come.

  even jesus, while on earth, did not know the ‘day and hour.’ he later told the apostles that jehovah, who is the great timekeeper, keeps the timing of certain events ‘in his own jurisdiction,’ or authority.

  @longhairgal, samen to me, since generation change in 1995, my loyality to jw.org was gone at all, for ever.

  Since 2008, with wife and children POMO, better then ever.

  And still in good contact with jw family, nothing changed. We are lucky and happy.

  i’m still an elder and i consider myself jw light.

  as my fellow elders are.

  we don’t throw our weight around like elders used to in the past, it’s all very easy going these days.

  @elderberry what is your limit what you can stomage all of that bizar comments, not educated cleaners tell you what to do and think and think not?

  All those fake smiles? Happy families with behind the door problems? Looking arround you in the hall and thinking what am I doing here?!?
