I believe Winston read too much into it as well .Same here , he has probably confused his beliefs and mixed them up as a hish hash of JW beleifs .
Because let`s face it it is hard to keep up with the flip flops of JW`s beliefs and their New light .
The only thing that the current JW knows about his / her religion is that Armageddon is coming and a new World of paradise is coming soon ,so don`t bog me down with details ,its all in Jehovah`s hand.
End of story.

TV program on Sects/ JW.

my tv has a few channels that only give audio but one of them 30 ?

in australia had a program on sects and were discussing the jw.

this was tuesday 14-12-21.. did anyone see this.

i listened to geoffrey jackson’s latest talk “assisting our brothers materially “.

jackson presented some arguments, one of which was….jesus did not stop the widow from putting money in the contribution box in the temple.

basically saying regardless of your financial situation you have to donate.

What is it about GOD that he always needs money from his worshipers ??? Even in Bible times he was always out for precious gems ,gold and silver ?
Does he ever actually ever get it ?

It makes sense : If people can believe that a GOD has no beginning and no end ?
The same could be said said about the Universe ? Why not ?
Why is there something rather than nothing ? Why not ?
The universe might be eternal there may be no beginning .
And now for my own two cents worth :
How do we know whether or not the Universe itself is a living thing
So the reality is ,there is no Armageddon,Great Tribulation its all in a book of fiction written two thousand years ago.
Probably one of the first SCI-Fi / Fantasy series of books ever produced.

the destruction that hit what, 6 states, ?

was really devastating.i hope none of our friends on this forum were victims of it.. my thoughts go out to all of those living in those areas that are affected .. i can imagine the double standards that jw`s have about this tragedy ,on the one hand being concerned about fellow jw`s that may have been affected ,loss of life or property ,and on the other hand rejoicing that it is yet another sign of how close armageddon is to destroy all opposers and apostates ..

Not to be cynical but there is always DONATIONS attached to these kinds of petitions ?
Doesn`t God own everything ?
