Experience given @ Phillipines Memorial Talk on JW.Org
by smiddy3 inand i would like as many as possible to view it and comment on it as possible because i cant believe they are still pulling this shit and the rank & file are still lapping it up .?
in this year of 2020.. i`m sorry i do not have the nouse to make a link or attachment or whatever and hope someone can do so .. i know, i had doubts about looking at it also , its on jw.org ,whats new or something phillipines memorial and an experience was given their about a young pioneer girl that had eyesight problems and how she got her doctor and hundreds more to go on line to watch the special talk .
and they even went on to say they had 30,000 non jw`s log on to the special talk.?

In one city over 31,000 non witnesses linked in to the memorial commemoration? yeah right.
The whole experience is contrived and just beggars belief that anyone could take this seriously its propaganda at its worst .
One medical professional thanked Daphane and the brothers for the invitation and said: “We had no idea that Jehovah’s Witnesses preach online. You are using technology in a very good way.”
Decades after Christendom were doing this On the day of the Memorial, medical professionals, policemen, and high government officials were linked in to the meeting. By the end of the Memorial, over 31,000 had connected to the program either by video or audio.
Give me a break ,and yet the rank and file are lapping it up

PHILIPPINES2020 Memorial Commemoration
Tens of Thousands View the Memorial as a Result of Young Pioneer’s Invitation in the Philippines
In Davao City, Philippines, over 31,000 non-Witnesses linked in to one congregation’s Memorial commemoration. In obedience to governmental restrictions, the congregation was not able to meet together, so they held their observance via videoconference. The extraordinary turnout was the result of one young pioneer’s invitation.
Seventeen-year-old Daphane Jane is a regular pioneer in Davao City. She has been battling the early onset of glaucoma for several years, which has degenerated her eyesight. Daphane was determined to invite the doctor who has been treating her glaucoma to view the special talk and the Memorial via videoconference.
The doctor was impressed that Daphane could answer his questions using the Bible and direct him to articles from jw.org, so he accepted her invitation. On Sunday, April 5, not only was the doctor tied in to the special talk but 12 of his colleagues were tied in as well. Those colleagues, in turn, had invited yet more people. As a result, 128 people linked in to the special talk.
After the program, one of the doctors admitted that he previously “hated Jehovah’s Witnesses” and opposed our ministry. But having heard the special talk, he expressed: “I would like to apologize because I shouted at one of your sisters and humiliated her. Thank you so much for the privilege of listening to your talk. Please continue your preaching work.”
Daphane’s doctor decided to also watch the Memorial program and invite even more of his colleagues. Since the congregation’s videoconferencing system could not handle the added number of people, the doctor even assisted in hosting the videoconference. On the day of the Memorial, medical professionals, policemen, and high government officials were linked in to the meeting. By the end of the Memorial, over 31,000 had connected to the program either by video or audio.
One medical professional thanked Daphane and the brothers for the invitation and said: “We had no idea that Jehovah’s Witnesses preach online. You are using technology in a very good way.”
Another stated: “Many of us, doctors and nurses, were able to join. It’s been a long time since we have listened to a Bible talk, and this is the first time we had it through videoconference. We were surprised that the Witnesses have this way of worship. We hope that you continue these arrangements. It is a very big help especially during these times when things are getting worse.”
For some, the special talk and Memorial were especially moving. One viewer expressed: “It was my first time to cry while listening to a Bible-based talk. I am very thankful to you, Daphane Jane, that you invited your doctor, and we too were included among those comforted. Now, I believe that there is a God, and I thank you, because my point of view was changed.”
Having seen how Jehovah has helped her, Daphane Jane is determined to keep on preaching despite her physical limitations and the challenges of the pandemic. Her experience reminds us that we should “not give up in doing what is fine, for in due time we will reap if we do not tire out.”—Galatians 6:9.

G.B of JW`s trusting in Jehovah ? or Trusting in Men When It Comes To A Crunch !
by smiddy3 injehovah`s witnesses have taken it upon themselves that they have been chosen by god to be his witnesses in what they believe to be the last days ,the time of the end spoken of by the prophets of old.. they are on record as stating in their publications that it is their calling and duty to preach this message of announcing jehovah`s kingdom loud and clear publicly and from house to house even when under ban.. which they have done on many occasions in the past putting their trust in jehovah .. taking to heart acts ch.5 : 17- 32 which states in a nutshell ," we must obey god as ruler rather than men " .
they are also on record that the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one satan the devil to mislead all mankind.. this includes all governments ,religious leaders ,economic, and social systems ,they have even stated that the united nations was a counterfeit kingdom in opposition to the kingdom of god for the benefit of mankind.. so what do we see today ?
true , we have a pandemic with this covid-19 virus that is wreaking havoc in the worlds health systems causing death to many people on a scale not seen since the spanish flu pandemic a century ago.. now i`m just speaking from a jehovah`s witness mindset here,to put there money where their mouth is.

Being aware of the support of the myriads of heavenly angels, may we never let up in searching out worthy persons by zealous house-to-housepreaching."
I wonder what the Myriads of heavenly Angels are doing now that Satans system of things has shut down the D2D preaching activity worldwide .

I still can`t get my head around why Jehovah God needs money ?
Isn`t he the B all and end all of all things ?
According to the JW`s he can make anything he wants to happen happen ,but apparently he can`t make money .

If Jehovah God and Christ Jesus are directing this earthly realm of their Kingdom for the past 100+ years and they still have to make corrections ,revise what they said a couple of years ago .? What good are they ?
If Jehovah and Jesus cant get it right first time off ,then they should resign and give it to somebody who can get it right first off ,as they are obviously incompetent .

Curious to know the Zoom attendance figures for for the memorial
by joe134cd ini’m just curious to know the local attendance figures for the memorial.
my father told me they had an attendance of 140. not flattering for a cong of 100 pubs.
i was sort of surprised at this considering the quarantine measures and everyone being forced to stay at home.

Wonder if they'll come up with some amazing "stories" about how Jehovah made it possible for these new ones to watch a zoom.
Have a look at my post about the Memorial in the Phillipines just posted
I am now convinced you cannot believe anything that comes out of their mouths ,nothing.

Just got a letter from a local JW
by wozza ina local brother has called on me 3 times in the last few months and has just sent me a letter ,.
in the previous calls we kept it simple : i have'nt been to meetings for years ,don't believe in god now ,etc.
touched on how i was appalled at how the org handles child molestation and they were quick to say that there have been problems but the governing body has it handled now blah blah.

I have just received an e-mail from our friend apologizing for not getting back to me sending an attachment that she wanted me to look up.She said it had to do with the Memorial in the Phillipine`s and I quote:"Good info tonight about inactive one returning" So now I have no doubt about where she stands in regards to the religion ,where as she was always a bit evasive and non committal about it.
So I did open the link and it was an experience given about a young pioneer girl with vision impaired and how she was instrumental in getting so many non witnesses to view the special talk.Overall I think they claim that 30,000 non JW`s tuned in to the special talk.
The experience related is so over the top as being JW propaganda BS ,that it is just so laughable and here she is 40-50 years in and she laps it up thinking I`m going to be impressed by it and return to the fold .
I`ll have to think about how i will respond as my wife says leave her alone don`t upset her its her comfort zone.
That in some ways I agree with her ,but I will have to bite my tongue.
If you can bring yourself to do it ,you won`t be disappointed if you log onto JW.Org and click on the Phillipines memorial where they give this experience. You have to click on whats new to see it .
I was in two minds whether to do it or not but am glad I did just to pick holes in what they said.

New Jobs Coming? Where Have You Worked at?
by 1234 inwith many people's jobs been put and "on hold" and other people's jobs going away for good, i couldn't help but think about all the different jobs i've had over the years.
i have been able to adapt and make do.
maybe this will kick in again....or maybe not.

smiddy3
I don`t know where the new jobs are coming ,but you did ask where have you worked at ?
Left school at 14 worked in Leathergoods taking on an apprenticeship
After 12 years decided I needed a change and got a job with Kodak in the testing laboratory for 5 years.
An encounter with some old friends took us interstate and I landed a job with a help from that friend in the oil industry as a lab technician for another 5 years .left their went interstate again and spent another year with the same company.
Went interstate again and got a job with Boral bitumen /roadworks and spent a year there.Left there and spent another year this time with Pacific films preparing chemicals for the photographic developments .
Somewhere in between all of this I spent a year in NSW and going from D2D so to speak landed a Job at Eric Worrells Reptile Park near Gosford and spent a year there. That was very memorable feeding and cleaning up after the wildlife ,one of the highlights of my life.I always regret not getting my son to take photo`s of me looking after these wildlife in my day to day work.
And finally I went back to Qld and got a job with Amoco refinery as a lab technician that was eventually taken over by BP and I ended up their for 28 years .
And i am now retired .Not everything there is in chronological order I just spoke as a memory came to mind .
The reason I moved around so much was because of the religion and I just trusted Jehovah would look after us as a family and in the early days jobs were relatively easy to come by .
I was very naive .And I was just bloody lucky .I shudder to think how we could have ended up .
But looking back now we had a great life ,and had some great experiences ,who else could say they hand fed fairy penguins or had an eagle momentarily perched on their shoulder or fed Dingoes , and fed platypus .?
