we have worked with a jw who's family have been like a part of our family for 6 years.

jehovah`s witnesses pride themselves as being a bible based religion ,that their beliefs and practices are all bible based ?.

Thank you for clarifying your post fultimestudent .You do make some valid points.I have some vague memory of we as JW`s were to speak a pure language and it led to some speculating whether we would in time be given ancient Hebrew the language Adam and Eve used ?
I have fond memory`s of listening to Dave Madzay`s talks when he visited our Congregation north of Brissy. The rumour I heard was that the booze got to him and he was DF ended up homeless and drank himself to death .
I didn`t know anything about the fire episode .
never knew there was a jw connection, but episode 1 clearly shows awake magazines.

What you need to do is give them a simple test for your own peace of mind without telling them of course and nothing intrusive or violating their privacy .
You have said that they have taken your kids to the meetings ?was that with your consent or without it ?
Do they have kids ? I dont think you have said they do.If they do say that you want to take them to a church of your choice just so they can see the difference in how people worship a God.
If they don`t have children do much of the same thing as regards your own children ,say to these people that you are going to take them to another church so that they can see the difference in how people worship a God.
You don`t actually have to do tat just make them believe that is your intention so that they get a balanced point of view.
And see what sort of a reaction you get from them , my bet it would be a negative reaction to whatever church you suggest ,try a couple if you want ,and a positive reaction to their church,KH

i`m just curious as to whether the corona beer sales have plummeted since this coronavirus has spread in different parts of the world .. it wouldn`t surprise me if sales had a nose dive since this outbreak and just wondered if anybody has any information concerning this ?.

they've been holed up in the bunker for a number of days and things are getting stressful for the bunker brothers.

Then again plenty of people had JW mags in their homes and were not associated with JW`s in any way .
What you saw doesn`t prove anything.
Millions of people have JW mags in their homes and couldn`t give shit about the religion and that`s a fact.
we hear how the economy is much healthier now.
are you better off than you were before, or the same or worse?
