That's stuff totally hearsay; it will just make you look bad if you're wrong. More importantly, I think you need to consider why you're resentful of the way you're viewed amongst an inconsequential community of people. Move on. Make new friends.

From a religion that tells its members to be sheep? I would say that it's not too much to expect, but that one has the wholly wrong set of expectations in the first place. People who do well in the org. are people who want to be led, and this includes elders, who are led by the people in the tiers above them.

Yes, my suggestion was that they will replace the U.N. with China. It's probably been awkward for the Society to label the U.N. as the wild beast for a while now, since trying to get cozier with them, and it's pretty implausible that the U.N. will ever move against religion. Whereas a nominally "godless" country taking over the world could be considered to be an overthrow of religion.

the hermenuetics of the type/anti-type practice was a big deal to me in realizing the tatt.
i searched high and low for a rational basis for concluding that god was communicating in a type/anti-type format that wasn't special pleading and circular.

Heard it from a friends JW mother
by Still Totally ADD inthe other day we went to our friends business to have our computer worked on.
our friend was raised a jw but never got baptized and left when he was in his late teens.
any way we started talking about the new jw.org and the new tv show they have.
