in light of the reaction after the panorama program i have seen a mixed variety of responses.
Since you are obviously a "maverick" JW, it would behoove you to read "Crisis of Conscience" by Ray Franz, since you are obviously still undecided on a number of issues related to the organization.
Word to the wise however, do not be vocal to members in the congregation like you have been here, becuase you will surely be inviting a judicial committee if you do.

Of course the standard dub reply to that reasoning would be--"oh the organization doesn't get involved in matters such as that".

I just find it simply fascinating that an individual like this one can only presume it is false, because in her 28 years of existence, she personally has never heard a "hick" lawyer!
What is also interesting is that her reasoning is there are bad elders out there, or they are imperfect and make mistakes, but I questioned her on why she doesn't at least have an open mind an apply that principle to the Society. When it comes to the Society itself, it must be a lie is her only rebuttal.

She was pissed that she had to pay for the therapy, so she called the society to say she thought it was ridiculous she had to pay and their thought on suing him. They told her she would be handled judicially if she sued him. YES SHE WAS PISSED, AND YES SHE STILL THINKS IT WAS RIDICULOUS. AND YES WE THINK IT WAS RIDICULOUS. BUT THAT DOESN'T CHANGE BIBLE DOCTRINE. So see, we know we and they aren't perfect in things we do and words we choose....but we can handle that. how would the wt public information explain their position on other crimes such as bank robbery, rape, or even murder?
would they present their position in the same way as child molestation?
if so here is an example for wt media to post with the proper changes.. .
I consider the letter that WT observer has posted abhorrent, and I cannot believe a bigger deal hasn't been made about the WT position on that.
I would love to get JR Brown in a radio interview and have him explain the letter!

i sent out notices to many individuals stating that they should watch dateline and do some further investigation after watching it.
here's one of the responses i received:.
after watching the dateline show, there really is no need for any "investigation".
I just emailed this elder. His comments disgust me.

Since, according to you, the GB will face Jehovah's judgement, how can you consider the entire JW faith true religion, since the religion resulted from the policies and doctrine of the GB in the first place?

You didn't answer Mike's question. Is Jehovah's organization corrupt?
Here's another question: If Jehovah will take care of the corrupt leaders, you realize this includes the entire GB, since they are the ones that are responsible for the pedophile policy that exists.
