Yes, like when my totally incapacitated parents come over all gooey when they get a few cards and a phone calls from the hall..
I say, that's great -it's amazing what the article in this weeks wt/km etc has guilted/motivated people to do...
Without the article or the circuit overseer's impending visit when he asks the body what they are doing to encourage the lowly ones they would otherwise receive NOTHING!
When the reports were still being collected the co-ordinator used that metallic computer telephone voice messaging service to ask for my terminally ill parents field service activity.
So heartless, soulless and uncaring - it upset them..
So I messaged him back, using the same computer metallic service as if it was from my parents:
"Dear congregation co ordinator - thank you for your recent heartwarming voice message asking for our reports. As we are both terminally ill, we apologise that we have not been able to do any ministry.
However, we can't tell you how upbuilt we both were to get your automated computer generated voice message urging us to submit our reports."
Apparently, their message upset him and he took the huff (wanker!) and somebody else then started sending them a monthly email asking for reports...
