  Details of my Disfellowshipping

  in may 2006 i was diagnosed with bipolar.

  my wife separated from me against my will.

  A former sister in law was not even reproved for an affair, was told to break it off. She just got sneakier. To top it off an elder I know bragged about what good friends he is with the fornicating new husband.

  In the 1970's I stumbled across a very respected elder having an affair with a very respected sister.

  I told one of the service committee - he said 'we think that affair has being going on for over ten years'.

  When it was obvious that the elders were going to do nothing I threatened to go to the co - the elders gave the couple a private reproof and then told me off for not telling the presiding overseer about what I had uncovered so he could have kept the matter private.

  Within six months the couple were at it again and the presiding overseer just sent the sister to another hall without informing the elders there what she had been doing - in fact he gave her a glowing testimony.

  Before I could do anything they both then eloped together, leaving letters to their marriage partners.

  Finally their original hall had to grudgingly disfellowship them...

  i find it extremely amusing how each year is passing without armageddon.

  "for the year 2000, i visualize a world transformed into a beautiful paradise!

  but i don't think that either the present world or its rulers will live to see that day.. we are living in the last days of the system of things.

  i am relating this happening.

  i shared some thoughts from the 1989 question from readers concerning christ being mediator between god and man ( the wt spinning that he isn't ) and also the paragraph in that same article that plainly says: clearly, then the new covenant is not a loose arrangement open to all mankind.

  it is a carefully arranged legal provision involving god and anointed christians.

  All the Old JW Acquaintances Passing Away

  yesterday, my dad told me an older sister passed away.

  she wasn't too old (in her 60s), but i knew her 30 years ago and haven't seen her in 15 years; the main reason being that i faded 10 years ago.. yesterday, i seriously considered attending the funeral and catch-up with old jws i used to know.

  after thinking it over, i decided against it.

  Honestly, the way my jw parents react when I ask about tony the turd you'd think they were brainwashed!

  "We don't need to know what's happened to him.."

  "We are loyal to jehovah, we don't speculate."

  "Have you been talking to apostates?"

  Yes, pretty normal reactions to an honest question about what has happened to a member of their lauded governing body..🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

  All the Old JW Acquaintances Passing Away

  My folks are on their last legs. So many of their peers have now passed away.

  They couldn't make the recent assembly, so I emailed their congregation co-ordinator for the link for them to watch it remotely - he never even replied to them.

  Their new co is visiting this week and the co-ordinator rang them, irritated for their reports - they are both housebound with cancer so I don't know what ministry he thinks they can do???

  Then he says to my dad who can't function, is in pain and totally housebound, that he would pick him up and get him to the very important elders meeting with the c.o. on friday...

  When my dad tried to kindly explain that he was too ill to attend the co-ordinator cut the call short and said he didn't have time to listen to all of my dad's health problems.

  Utter bastards all of them.

  They get no help or offers of help from anyone in their hall, but they are still undyingly loyal to the droids who attend...

  My folks who have been in almost sixty years said to me recently, "We don't care if you prove to us that what we believe isn't correct or in line with the bible, we still know we have the truth!!"

  i found this questions from readers: https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1989609?fbclid=iwar0cbmrtiyrknsggtnizkwuwfxunlalws6vog87eke_c4marr_drps8nywk....it makes very plain that jesus is only the mediator for the 144000 and while jesus said at matt 26:28 that the new covenant is for forgiveness of sin, the article makes it plain that the new covenant is a legality between god and the 144000. i have some thoughts already on this and i have started a document with this article.

  i would like appreciate any rebuttal thoughts you have on the article as well.

  this is one thing i have woke up to...the jw will start with a scripture, and then wrap a lot of other scriptures into the article so the rank and file think what great bible scholars and that they aren't that studious and so they swallow the falsehoods hook, line, and sinker.

  JW visit...after 12 years out

  i used to post here under the name nobleheart but forgot the old password, so put up a new account (nobleheart1).

  was a jw (2002-2011), ended up writing a da letter.

  I wonder how many active JW's actually know the organisation's teaching that 'Jesus is not a mediator for the great crowd'?

  I just asked my folks who have been in the wt religion since the 1960's - one of whom has been an elder for over 40 years and they didn't have a clue about this teaching!

  
  

  I had to prove it to them by showing it to them from wt's own publications.

  They were not happy and became defensive, troubled and worried...

  It's the line I am going to take with every JW I meet from now on who tries to preach to me!!
