Min,
Quit sucking up to Doug! He’s not any more impressed by your lame attempts at agenda orientated cyber flattery than I am. Both he and I have told you many times before. NO! it ain’t go’en-ta ever happen! So stop with the flattery crap ya fruit cup.
BTW, thanks for the last photos you sent of your grand-cookie-eater. Mine is still better looking and smarter than yours but given her genealogy, it’s understandable. Poor kid.
Bite me,
Dave

Jehovah's Witnesses Are An Illogical People & They Should Be Embarrassed!
by minimus inquestion a witness in a very logical manner about their view of blood transfusions and blood fractions and see what you'll get.. ask a witness where in the bible it states that you can't talk to a disfellowshipped family member unless he or she lived in your home.. ask a witness why they need 2 witnesses to establish that a child has been molested but they don't need 2 witnesses to establish that a spouse has been unfaithful and that the accuser may now be free to "scripturally" remarry.. have a jehovah's witness prove to you that filling out a service report is necessary for a christian to have god's approval.. can you think of other proofs that the witness religion is totally illogical??

Witnesses say that ex-JW’s tell apostate lies when making any statement against the Watchtower.
Witnesses say that all other religions are “false religion” and they are also liars.
If all the other religions are wrong, then are all the other religion’s apostates right when disagreeing with them?
Are the witnesses agreeing with apostates?
Are all “ex-members” of any religion “apostate liars”? Or, just ex-members of the Watchtower religion?
I would love see one of the current JW’s who frequent this board wrap their little minds around this one.
How’s that for a little logic Min?
I posted on one of your goofy threads. Now you owe me a nickel.

Barbara Anderson's Paedophilia CD: The Watchtowers Chocolate Cake Defence
by Duncan ini received my copy of barbara andersons cd paedophilia in an american religion a month or two ago, and i have been reading through it since.. what follows, although i have called this a review, is in no sense a scholarly consideration of the legal merits of the cases described, a task for which i am wholly unqualified.
these are, rather, my subjective reflections on the material presented, the impressions i gathered while reading the legal filings, my untrained, common-man appraisal of the cases laid out in those documents.
ill also admit to being swayed by tone of voice adopted, and to using my own common-sense yardstick in determining the reasonableness of the statements made, the responses given and the arguments put forward.

Jeff,
I can’t think of anyone on else on this forum who could have said it better, with more sincerity and understanding. I think maybe the doors on is whole issue can now be closed with all moving on with a better understanding of the mentally disturbed mind.
I don’t buy into his “cause of” story, I’m sure it is something a bit different but at least he can admit there is “something” wrong with him. That’s a start.
Take care,

greetings fellow apostates!
by SethMo ini should introduce myself, since this is my first post.
i'm actually not an ex-jw, but rather someone who has just lost his faith in a different church, the mormon church.
i've long suspected that in terms of the organizational aspects of our two churches, how they hook you mentally, how they condition you, how they socialize you and make it very hard to leave, from an abstract level there's really not a dime's worth of difference.

Sethmo,
Sorry for the assumption. You haven’t posted before so I didn’t know your humor range. I was just going off my knowledge of cult programming and it’s residual effects on ex-members.
By the way. Do you still consider yourself a Mormon? You said “We” didn’t invent it”
Here’s a piece of art for you. It’s called programmed.
It fits both Mormons and JWs alike.

No problem Tyrone.
The “stealth” programming of minds is the key to cult development for both the “born into’s” as well as the “conned into’s”. The average Mormon is as unaware of the programming process being used on them when they are in their religion, as the average JW is.
They are just two of the many modern day American religions using a stealth as well as a bait and switch approach to sucker their people in and along. They both fly under the “freedom of religion” radar screen set up by many countries so they actually get away with murder.
Thanks to idiots like Tom Cruise and his mindless worship of L. Ron Hubbard, people are starting to take notice of minority religions. Scientology’s use of celebrity endorsement advertising is coming back to bite them in the ass and the fallout will benefit all of us ex-cult members both in the LDS church and Watchtower printing company.
Fortunately modern technology and natural human curiosity is helping cut the stealth programming religions off at the knees.
Thank you Tom.

Sethmo,
First of all the Mormon church did not invent the term “apostate” any more than the JW’s, Adventist, or Scientologist did. They all just use it in their programming process to indicate a class of ex-members who pose a threat to the particular brand of god product that they are trying to sell. The concept and term apostate is as old as the god product itself. http://www.britannica.com/eb/article-9044116/Julian
Cults and sects use terminology that they claim are exclusive to themselves so as to enforce their illusion of being “the one and only truth or right one”. Exclusivity is a programming tool used by the advertising industry almost as well as religions. It is use to sell a concept, product or brand the same way they both use endorsement advertising. Tell your ex-Mormon friends on the other boards you post on that continuing to believe the term “apostate” was invented by the Mormons is just another example of how deeply their programming continues to influence their lives after they leave. It takes years to get all the programming crap out of your being.
It’s similar to JW’s using the term “the truth” when referring to the religion they “just” left and the Scientologist using the term “fair game” when referring to hostile interaction with ex-Scientologist.
The Scientologist, Adventist, Mormons and JW’s are very similar in their programming process. Their ex-members are also very similar in the psychological adjustment process once they figure out it’s all bullshit and decide to leave.
Second of all, nice post.

I am Frustrated beyond belief~/Please read!
by restrangled injust had a conversation with my mom about 13 million spent on defending and losing court cases by the society.. i argued that they can't argue against the catholics when they themselves are guilty of the same.. she replied she didn't care.
(after sending them $100,000.00 dollars) she stated that the catholic church had spent billions defending them selves and if the jw's had only spent millions .
that the society had spent billions sending a message, and if i didn't like their message then leave her alone and the rest of the group.. i am burning with rage......i was accused of trying to destroy her beliefs, and if i was not in agreement to reject the entire religion........which of course i have already done many moons ago.. r..

Rest,
No one can ever penetrate a brick wall by standing in front of it and saying to it, “you're a brick wall, I’m going to penetrate you”. Brick walls don’t know they are a brick walls. Brick walls can’t think like people so don’t try to communicate with them like they’re one.
Your mom has had “almost” all of her thoughts completely manipulated and her mind programmed. Stating the obvious will never get you anywhere. What you might want to try is a little thought association. That’s how she got to become the way she is in the first place.
You know she is in a cult BUT, the word “cult” or verbally expressing any “actions or accusations” (like child molestation issues) toward a group/cult in a negative manner (they/she will always see it in a manner of a negative attack) automatically shifts their mind into defensive mode. Once that is done they are running on pure “cult programming” and things like logic, reasoning, and individual thought examination, don’t have a chance of penetrating trough.
But…if you recognize that “thought association is being used by her/them” you can begin to use it in a manner her mind can associate with and possibly accept. She instantly comes back at you with the Catholic church molestation and court payout amounts, then everything changes to dollar amounts justifying/equalizing the least of two evils which makes her/them more right and less wrong. Words like “molestation” “court cases” “spent millions” “paid out” are words that flips her/their thinking switch to panic association mode. Then they/her go into the “what about them” and “what about you” mode. When that happens the best you can do is jump back onto your white horse and rise off into the sunset to fight again another day.
The last person to recognize they are in a cult is a person who is in a cult. But,…they seem to have the ability to recognize others who are in “some other” cult. How did she feel about Jonestown, Havens Gate or Branch Dividians? Or how does she feel about less obvious (to her) more mainstream cults like Mormons, Scientologist or Seventh day Adventist? They are all wrong, right?
If you can bring out things about them (check out the internet for ex-group members of those groups and learn about them) which she will probably agree with you on. You can use thought association in a manner where she looks at it in a positive “agreement with you” manner and lets down some of her programmed thought defenses. Once that is done, it is a lot easier to communicate and get a point across.
Cults all have the same mind manipulation techniques. If you can eventually get her to associate or recognize what she sees as cult mind manipulation being or has been used on someone else in what she sees as a cult, she just might someday be able to see it in herself.
The advertising industry has been using thought association to manipulate consumers minds to buy stuff for decades and it works better then you’ll ever know or recognize.

Secrets of Pedophilia in an American Religion
by CharlieBrownsLovelyDaughter ini am interested in getting a copy of the cd.
has anyone downloaded it anywhere for mass distribution?

Barbara is, not at all interested in making a ton of money from this CD or the follow up book (that’s just how she is) unlike the tax-free non-profit organization they help expose.
Whether or not SOME of the information eventually shows up for free downloading, stealing (that cracks me up), or just reading, is entirely up to her or the bonehead who takes the time to extract some of the PDF file pages or type it all out to try and look important in the tiny little kingdom of exJWdom.
Most of the information is public domain, not copyright protected material, so I don’t think she is going to sweat it all that much right now. She didn’t put it all together to get rich or famous. She did it all for you/us boneheads.
It’s not like it’s revealing the copyright protected secrets of the alien directed end of the world in the OT-8 level from the warped mind of L. Ron Hubbard and Scientology for crispy shakes. (but if you type in some of those words in any search engine you can read it)
Nor is it the next secret and highly guarded transcript of the Hairy Potty books.
Danny…billions and billions? Are you sure about that figure?
The kid has a valid point. It shows some depth of character, in a standing on your head and looking at the world upside down, kind of way.
This whole episode is not over yet.
Stay tuned to your local apostate stations.
