What are the benefits of doubts?

what are the benefits of having created the human mind being able to have doubts inside (or regarding) the true religion (jude 22)?.

because if you have doubts, you are not sure, so it is difficult to believe and trust.

and if it is difficult to believe and trust, it is even more difficult to have faith since it is the "assured" expectation of what is hoped for (hebrews 11:1).

"Verzweifeln" verb, to give up, to be distressed about the current situation, troubled in doubt, with a certainty that the course is wrong beyond redress. so,

applying this to the wt package of truthfacts , all based on the talking snake saga, You can give the benefit of a doubt to some of the kind souls in the association of br/ sisters, but you can verzweifeln, totally give up in desperation as to the current teachings. let them/ prod them to wake up.

aaron's rod became a big snake (exodus 7:8-10).. when something not alive, like dust, becomes alive, like a living person (genesis 7:2): is this not called "creation"?

so, when pharaoh's wise men, sorcerers, and magic-practicing priests of egypt also did the same (exodus 7:11, 12): how could we called this instead?

i read about some jws explaining it as a magic illusion.

i think the reason for this is that the 1975 fiasco is never mentioned in the jw religion.

nobody mentioned it to me when i came in the years after.. the problem with this is that all the sad stories were never told (or hushed up) of people who sold off homes, etc.

Claiming the WTS have utter and complete control over everyone's life choices is demonstrably false, and just plays into their hands. This is NOT the message that we want to be telling people.

Simon, I did not say that wt has complete control. just saying the wt message is: only if you obey us will you live, disobey us, you will die. we (wt) say "jump": you jump, then ask how high?, or "which cliff?".

wt wants its members to obey any patently unreasonable demands, with the proviso that only obedience wiil keep you out of gehenna, only unquestioning obedience will get you into everlasting life. it is a life an death issue the way wt defines it.

If someone tells you to jump off a cliff and you do don't blame them for your injuries! FUJW:

The person telling you to jump of the cliff is 99.99% responsible for your injuries, because/ when

that person has threatened you with eternal death if you disobey, has cited unfailing proof that disobedience ones will die, as they did in bible stories, if that person has indoctrinated you since childhood that during your jump the laws of nature will be suspended, miraculously, you will levitate like angels, and you will survive, whereas all non jumpers will be killed.

Those that by deception, coerce others into injury are criminals and have , at least "in the world", been charged and convicted.

wt still teaches, that obedience to "seemingly" unreasonable wt orders (like jumping of cliffs would be) is the only way to avoid eternal death.

Once 1975 was coming onto the horizon in 1968, at least 5 in our circle of friends build houses instead of selling, and then pioneered. It was cheaper to build then to pay rent for the "time left"-- right--. Brooklyn was actively buying too btw.

Even wt's false prophecies are profitable if seen clearly.

one way speed of light? do you mean original, pristine photons / waves emitted emitted from an energy source are in instantaneous travel at infinite velocity? as compared to old, second hand reflected light? test, without any clocks:

easy: have an original light source beaming away, and reflected light beside it, and visually compare the start and arrival side by side instant at the start and finish lines. guarantee you that there is no difference between virgin and reflective light speeds.

Consider this, time is the first dimension, always existed, with uncreated energy. light in our young universe traveled since about 13 billion years. none of it is still circulating at infinite speed all has been stretched into radio wave length. we all send messages into the future, but everything we look at, or hear, is from the past. Max speed @ c.

instantaneous reaction at a distance is from entanglement, prior contact, not superluminal travel.

schwt. that is your convenient simplification. You are either on the watch, observing reality, or watch for any opening to constantly proclaim false and made up messages.

good news of the kingdom? where is wt writers mention of Col. 1, the kingdom of god's beloved son? domain of Christians since the first century?

wt is preaching the supposed kingdom of 1914, a precursor to the millenium, plus the governing rule of the Governing F&DS Body since 1919, by a disseminating a wt paper flood.

wt writers may be awake, but have so far only spelled out one truth: it is a snare and a racket.

the rest of all that churning has a 100% failure rate. followers beware. more of the same to come. what else?

That is not to say that some very genuine good people have worked on that with joy, , but so have members of others groupings.

What can be said despite our record of failed predictions is that we have heeded the Lord's admonition to 'Keep on the Watch'

wt sch: there is a big difference between being on the watch, and repeatedly aggressively jumping the gun and trying to provoke the deity to fulfill the promise to "bind in heaven what has been bound on earth" (by wt writers) claiming divine guidance on hidden biblical messages. pointing to years, even hours of fulfillment, ( The october 1914 last supper in Brooklyn).

wt has given The deity a really bad name, using the name that even jesus did not dare utter) by linking, inking it to patently false premises. as Carl Sagan said. " the world has ended, but nobody noticed" well wt has been noted, and found wanting. only

a full recantation and redo will give wt any legitimacy as the oracle. imho.
