  New war - Russia vs US?

  i've read a couple of articles recently about the situation developing in ukraine.. in 2014 putin sent russian troops into crimea and annexed this area.

  crimea has either an ethnic russian majority or a substantial russian minority.. there's also an area of eastern ukraine called donbass which, again, either has a large number of ethnic russians or a huge amount of pro-moscow rebels.. so, vladimir putin is currently sending tanks, jeeps, guns and soldiers to eastern ukraine, and ukrainian president volodymyr zelensky is also fortifying adjacent areas with ukrainian troops and military hardware.. nato and biden support ukraine and biden has apparently sent two us warships to the region.. where is this all going?

  Old grievances that go back to 1918, to treaty of Brest Litovsk, when the whole area, Crimea did not belong to Russia, still simmering.

  Russian propaganda speaks of preventing a Crvenica type massacre against Russian speakers in the area, . A "tonkin" incident to happen. What an irony, when the Jugoslav murders were perpetrated by Russian backed Serbs.

  Hope no more fighting will happen. poor populace.

  That may be the case at the congregation you know. I saw that in one elder at a congregation I studied.

  jp: it takes a while to see behind the curtains. In my active years as a special, it was often the assignment to abate conflicts created by strong domineering personalities.

  believe me, wt would love to have drone elders tempered by their ruling wifes, but, that is another can of worms altogether.

  Thats one thing they said. A guy helping a woman doesn't negate the other things they published encouraging female submission.

  jp: I might see this from my old perspective, but in the present local, at least half the elders are in reality afraid of their wives' wrath. In a number of households, the majority of the men never comment, the ladies are very verbose, using the imperative a lot.

  where is 1 Cor 14, "the lord's commandment" applied?, I Tim 2: 11,12?

  anyone following the derek chauvin trial?.

  if you are actually following it, not just listening to the media, you will likely realize that there is a huge gap between what is going on in court and what is being reported in the media.. if the trial was fair, i think he should be acquitted.

  there is plenty of reasonable doubt about the cause of death (his dealer doesn't want to testify because he could be guilty of 3rd degree murder for selling him a fatal amount of fentanyl) and even doubt over whether the officer even had his knee on the guys neck or did anything counter to what they were meant to do as per policy.. but is it fair?

  How about the same question for the flood, the deluge? The evildoers were not even human, or fully human. evildoers nerver are, but think of the baby pandas. who's distant offspring will never see paradise.

  that much collateral damage, nearly 99.99999% is surely against the geneva convention.
