  It was very surprising, that wt writers used the inclusion of the question: " who then is the faithful and wise servant--" NIV in the end time prophecy, - as an excuse to appoint themselves as god's mouthpiece. of 1919 vintage.

  In the process they disinherited such greats as Paul, James, John and Luther, Kepler, Copernicus, Galilei, amd yes, I. Newron the bible researcher.. Partakers all, part of the previous "slave class"

  May be these parables are planted to separate the wheat from the chaff.

  The heavies mentioned above from the peripheral light weights like wt, with their so called new light. Very light, with little substance - indeed, blown away by the wind, blowing, changing direction, from the "4 corners of the earth."

  should these parables by treated as strained / sustained metaphors?

  where does it say that people who do not partake have to touch the emblems at allrv 2000

  when you think about it, the "other sheep"= jw non-partakers need the emblems more that the "anointed". the anointed will die to go to heaven, (pay the price) but the OS will never die at all, so they need the new covenant to have their sins really forgiven to keep living.

  that is why Jesus passed the emblems to people with an earthly hope, that were un-anointed to eat and drink. not to wink.

  The "water canopy" that supplied the water for the global deluge of Genesis chapter 6 is mixed up in there as well, at some point.

  FFG good points. To wt adherents must then be explained how that much water, more then double the present ocean volume, was suspended above ground (by pressure or in space by orbital velocity like saturn's rings.)

  Near earth it would block all sunlight, like the oceans do now in the deep. Saturn's rings are now split by moons, our rings would be pretzels with our massive moon. .

  It is totally obvious that evolution could not have occurred.

  R: it is obvious that evolution did and does occur. It is the tool that a possible creator uses to develop the world. not just life,

  even the laws of nature might have "evolved" by trial and error. erroneous laws would not create a universe, just have the trial situation revert back to chaos, to energy.

  R: good point, there is actually no record of the apostles doing that at passover time.

  The occasion, when Peter was freed by the angel from prison, with the full moon in the east, he did not find the other apostles at a bread and wine event. that would have been a good time in the story to highlight that. It must have been invented ~50 or 500 years later.

  hit her -- the scams...miracle wheat, Beth Sarim, the UN and Mexico Malawi scandals?

  Ds: I see it differently judging by my situation: we have to help people, that are in mental anguish, because they lost the support of their closest friend, family to sustain their unsustainable belief in the wt lie.

  My little daughter's rhime: "If they say, you will not die, you know it is a lie". instead of creating more insecurity by pointing out impossibilities, (which is ok here), try to subtly build the person up.

  There is a far greater reward than wt offers. the Universe is far grandioser than the bible says.

  The possible creator has done far greater things, than wt promises. with a family going forward, she is his fellow worker.
