..specifically, the suffering of animals.
you can talk about free will/sin/people choosing to not listen to god etc to explain human suffering being allowed.. but how can you love a god that allows animals, that haven't sinned or chosen to not have anything to do with god, to have their short lives ended in often long, drawn out, painful ways.
i could list stories i've read that would probably make you feel ill, but i'm not looking to shock anyone or start an emotional debate.
why? perhaps he never foresaw that the automatic evolution process would progress to the point where suffering would last so long to cause pain to be remembered and be recognized by intelligent beings.?

I have yet to see a case as severe, or similar to the US olympic gymnastic coach, or the Canadian ski coach that had relations with a twelve year old, and got a 15 year old pregnant, among others, show up on the Watch Tower list. By it's nature the religion keeps a lid on things, even on the personal level.
