6 magazines a year.. 2. a new book is being released: remain in god's love, more of an update like how they did for the what does the bible really teach book.

The Watchtower's Real Crisis
by JeffT inwhen discussing the watchtowers financial problems, i've generally been of the opinion that they probably are not in a real financial crisis.
i've come to believe that money may be something of an issue, but its wrapped up in a much larger problem.
this came to me this morning when reading about the annual meeting.. i think the society's leadership is just plain out of ideas.

The Watchtower's Real Crisis

i've come to believe that money may be something of an issue, but its wrapped up in a much larger problem.
this came to me this morning when reading about the annual meeting.. i think the society's leadership is just plain out of ideas.

The only major doctrinal point addressed in recent history has been the overlapping generation and that has been a classic exercise in trying to sell the impossible.
They have offered nothing in the meat of the scriptures

In memory of a lost doctrine - the vindication of Jehovah's name
by slimboyfat ini start this thread in response to a comment by a jw apologist called simonsays on another thread.
he claimed to have read all three volumes of vindication by rutherford (my sympathy if true).
he further implied that it didn't matter that old jw literature said wrong and stupid things, saying:.

For vindicating a name, you would have to attach a meaning to it, and with "Jrhovah" becoming or "causing to become" anything thats suits the purpose or time, how is this done? a lttle bit like the four sided faces of the creatures on the chariot that face whatever direction it is headed at the time.
Vindication demands a stated goal achieved, sanctification just a general cleaning. or?

I do not see any hypocrisy in a jw posting here, even if he knows he risks consequences. Wt ideas are welcome here to be picked apart, after all wt claims to be the true religion because of its supposed [superior] ideas.

Sorry if I have not made myself clear Morpheus but I am all in with wt. Whether or not being on this site suggests otherwise is debaitable. FS:
You are not the decidetly all in JW, pioneering when you can, contributing your surplus money.
Wt doctrines are debatable, a rich source of easy pickings. You do not have to quit here to be a JW or quit spending time at the hall to enjoy on this forum.
even the bible has 2 or three worthy verses.

In the past, having a new full size magazine (even larger in French) was a boon to go back on your interested ones with interesting stuff every week. now what? its over.
