  Watches: mens mechanical facination

  lots of guys have a mechanical facination, be it cars or building things or one of a hundred other ways.

  one area in particular is watches.

  i have a few that i love.. a personal fav is my tissot sea star 1000. cant post a pic atm but its an awesome watch.... .

  Tower of Watches, or with watches?

  I is ironic that Watchtower, with a name like that is not a good time piece. latest example:

  Last week's wt predicts that the "final test", "Satan's" final demise will be finished and done with by the end of the millennium reign. ( wt 07 2017, page 7, par 17)

  WTbts, as a chronometer, can not be fixed, even though its members are known to own the best.

  Wt seems to have a rigid time schedule, and if a pesky bible detail does not match it, they just re-write it, here,

  The inconvenient bible fact that the release of Satan, the final test happens after, outside and beyond the 1000 years, the 7000 year rest day, the 49 000 year jubilee cycle has to be squashed.

  wt still is time line driven.

  i was withh a friend of mine who is a jw still and for whatever reason we started talking the bible.

  i asked him about lazarus and how is that when he died he paid the price of sin, but then jesus resurrected him.

  and i asked him "where is lazarus today?

  Missionaries were actually conftonted with drawn guns when the news about their stake preaching spread in the community. because of the real pointed stakes point. but my point was

  the two stage erasing of sin, not counting 1000 years of good behaviour and "service". aka sl...y.

  Data Dog, yes, the persistent use of replacing "after the 1000 years have ended} with "until the end of the 1000 years" shows that the deluded ones among the writers are still deep "in"

  SG, SG, Sr, all, Yes, the bible idea of one intervention after another, that never happened is ridiculous, but my point was, if you care, that

  wt writers adhere to a scripted time table requiring precise wording to be fed into the minds of believers, a timetable that still ticks on the 7000 year cycle, which got jws into the 1975 frenzy. Par 18 revealed that.

  all will be done by ~3075, --- if D. Splane can be believed. Ripley anyone?

  Based on all these comments, perhaps wt should introduce a dual stage ransom/ forgiveness doctrine?:

  You pay for your personal sins by your own death, (even repeated demise) but only the stake/cross will pay for "Adamic" sin?

  re: Eutychus and Dorcas: It just shows you the power of the resurrectors. They can even recreate imperfect humans, with their past personal sins paid for by their individual death, (but still carrying Adamic sin and propensity to fall). If only that snake had not talked ha ha.

  perfection is never a barrier to deviance, why do you think we have second death in the wt armory?
