  Pete Z: but may be she had all the amenities in it, a lift to set her doen into her bath? The main thing is a healthy mind, which often goes with a functioning body.

  which world is this?_________________when the doctor pulled my screaming body out of mom all those 7 decades ago, i landed in a post-wwii world.it was--compared to today's world--an alien planet.. the world i live in today has nothing in common with the world in which i grew up.. there were no cell phones back then--there were black telephones with a dial-tone and an operator who placed your call.

  everywhere you found telephone booths!

  a call was a nickle.where did all those telephone booths go?i dunno.where did my whole world go?i dunno.. tv sets were huge boxes with tubes and small screens.

  My brain is cluttered with old stickers.

  Terry, do not call it that: clutter. I have started to just write one line notes on things that happened, what I do not normally remember during day to day activities. . an amazing chain of unrelated events, just to reflect on of what happened on the journey.

  That journey is your legacy, it does good to reflect on that. it is a moving experience as moving gets more and more difficult.

  yesterday's random entry: Event at x construction company, a one ton facing stone, being lifted to the 10st floor broke loose and smashed down, 8 feet from me, through a ready to pour floor forming and collapsing the whole section right beside me. My comment to the foreman: "Just wait until the rest come down' soon,-- soon like at Armageddon" ha ha, that was 47 years ago, prior to 1975. thank you wt.

  To put her accomplishment in perspective, if you are a normal healthy senior, in your late 80s, you would have to live another 30 years in good care, with good finances (perhaps not with alot of big sudden money). Have a loving family. There was news, just across the Alps that a crowbar was used by a grandson to get at his grandfather's inheritance money, and not to pry open a treasure chest either.

  PS: wish we had a couple of millions of these Emmas and Jeannes around, then that 1918 wt prophecy would come true, and true without wt going into the overlapping mode.

  that is an amazing achievement, even for the care takers. There must be something to being a lady, live in that latitude, (the french record holder lived in the general region too) The genetic make up of the southern Europeans. wish I could live that long too.

  read this over at reddit so the credit goes to the person over there but in genesis 4:22 it's say one of the offspring of adam knew how to work with iron roughly 130 years after the creation of man.

  now historians and scientists say man didn't figure out how to use iron until about 1100 bc, man we're we wrong!

  it's also interesting that cain is building a city when there like 10 people on the planet and nimrod goes on to build the tower of babel only about 100 year after the flood.

  Single Sisters Over A Certain Age Group Getting A Bad Rap

  i'm new here; one of my relatives was a member on this forum a few years ago and told me about it.

  anyways, as a sister who has been in the org since childhood and now in her late 40's (plus as a woman of color), i have noticed that a number of brothers have an ageist attitude.

  they are very accepting of young women under 26 and rejecting women over that age, particularly those in their 30's and over.. is this an unspoken mindset from wthq (specifically from bethel), or is it that quite a number of males (sorry, i'm not sexist here) have this type of mentality?
