It would have been nice to meet the Creator in the Galilee region around AD 30, after having the scientific knowledge that we now have.

SDB: the story has it, that the co creator ( with all the total scientific knowledge) was present in the region at that time and/but showed an astonishing ignorance of the true nature of the cosmos, natural laws and of this planet and its history. Try a better method.

As to the pretty picture above, we have to wait for the expert to sort that out. the only organisation shown in that melee is the obvious and huge "einstein ring" of background spirals aligned in a circle, shining through gravity-distorted space in the foreground.

Imagine when the images will be gathered that deal with the surface gravity of an even smaller, earlier, more dense universe, of which 3/4 we will never see anyway, because it has expanded the other way, beyond our 12 billion year horizon.

recent posts about elders telling people to quit their jobs etc.

reminded me of this.. when i was in my early twenties i decided that i really wanted to build a house (id always wanted to, even as a kid).

i justified my "selfish" desire in my own mind by thinking that once we were living in it we'd have more freedom and skills to volunteer to do things like quickbuilds and international construction (actually, it really did work out that way).

This was very much the case during those years of the late 1960s and early 1970s.

RG. in 1969, with the paradise now a long 6 years away to 1975 , as opposed to 15 minutes with the minute man reach, it was a paying proposition to build instead of renting. owned up to 4 properties ever since. wt leading the way. follow the money, and keep it in the family.

are showing an area that is an infinitesimally small part of the whole.

It is counter intuitive, but as we receive these old photons, we are looking at a smaller and smaller universe, where they came from so long ago. Things were packed closer then. The gravity distortions, lensing shows, that these are not straight line sightings going off into infinity, and the universe is bigger and bigger the farther we gaze.

In general it is obvious, that religions have given us but a caricature of a possible creator/ trice. We know though, that all that energy tied up in those galaxies is uncreated. some much for the "creator" enJoy. .

prediction: the webb instrument will not show the Earth existing at that time, that far away.

The deeper view will demolish the bible creation account. they will not find the solar system, age 4.5 billion years, or the earth in their "beginning" "hand of god" views*.

The Earth was not created in the beginning as erroneously asserted Gen 1:1.

we're going back almost to the beginning.

no, the researchers are not going back to the beginning in a block universe of Albert the great. they are trying to see photons/waves that old, that emerged from eternal uncreated energy. but the Webb images show very strong gravity distortions/foreground lensing.

Imagine when they look at a place/time with an horizon, when all the mass/energy of the universe was compressed into an even smaller sphere?

What does the big bang look like now? look at your fingers. they were in the big bang too, as new matter made from energy. yes, your body's matter was in the Big Beginning in the form of energy, otherwise you would not be here. and

somebody living 13.8 billion light years away might be trying to see you right now.ha ha.
