  Jhine, When you see wt writers, F Franz in this case, searching for a possible confluence of all their speculations, You can see why they flew that 1975 kite, to see if it would bring the divine Lightning discharge, to use the Benjamin Franklin /Thor analogy.

  1975 was the limit of a natural 60 year generation, a kid turning grandmother, counting from 1914.
  1975 also fitted the outcome of their "begat" sequencing.

  Bringing the 2 wt mistakes together,

  wt now has the final generation as the anointed, dying before Armageddon. But jesus said that the generation would pass away after all has that endtime trouble has occurred.

  So who among Armageddon survivors will pass away? make that to be the rebels that die after the 1000 years, after the creative days have ended, die forever after the rest day has ended.

  make that "flying the kite" after 3075. (2 centenarian overlappers + 1000)

  Newton would have it in 3060 btw.

  Fm, and that shows that wt writers are still totally wrong again, because after "the purpose is fully realized" the whole thing blows up again, because

  after the 1000 years, after the 7 creative days have ended. after the rest day has ended,

  in the following day, the camp of the holy ones is attacked from all sides.

  taking a rest, thinking it is all over, and waking up to a new nightmare

  to the tune the song : Monday, Monday.

  the other night, my wife and i were driving through a upscale suburb with old, large, beautiful homes.

  there is one house that my never jw she really likes.

  as we drove by the house, i turned to her and said, "that's your armageddon house.

  wt literature showed that the Millennium would start circa 1975 but wt literature did not SAY that the “end” would come in 1975.

  Fm: It is understood, that The millenium is ushered in by Armageddon. The kingdom of 1914 might run concurrently with satan's exclusive hold on Earth, and the last generation, but surely not post Armageddon.

  You say beginning of the 1000 year reich and you say Arma-geddon

  7th creative day with the Millennium is 7000 years long although it is still very logical to believe it is even though the other creative days may be billions.

  wt now teaches that the creative days only apply to, describe the local conditions as seen from the Earth's surface, not the actual creation of photons, the sun or the moon.

  1975, we got played, scammed, exploited and manipulated by the GB leaders of the WTS.

  J4R, IN THE MEANTIME AFTER 1969, WT INC KEPT BUYING PROPERTIES IN BROOKLYN AND WHO KNOWS ELSEWHERE. but so did I,

  because I could not believe in 1969 , when 1975 was studied in the book study, that Armageddon was 6+ years away, therefore , plenty of time to make a house pay over renting ha ha.was dragged into the real estate marked kicking and screaming. now creeming.

  Jan, sorry to unintentionally have hijacked your thread, but wt printed 1975 in connection with the 1000 years. beginning, and Fm and I are quivelling about the end.

  Fisherman, . may be wt is thinking of the light at the end of the tunnel, I am thinking of the 25 foot mark at the end of a measuring tape.

  just a quirky expression of one of their past writers that they dare not abandon. They have to tread carefully, they never know what can of worms the ramifications in their story will lead to.

  Need to look at the base text

  Fm: The base text mentions that the nations are already in the 4 corners of the Earth "whenever" (interlinear) "otav" the 1000 years are ended, and "satan" is released. so,

  come 3075 + hat makes it either a square disk or a 3 sided pyramid. where the perfect nations will be after a millenium under wt control.

  Wt writer's careful wording is usually not a question of the base text, but their hidden agenda.
