  now, many years later, i remember the 1995 generation change, very well.. since early youth, hearing my father explaining in field service the 2520 years.

  it was his main theme in the field.. with the change my doubts started.

  with some jw friends we did not trust the organization anymore.

  fm: wt applies the generation remark in a second fulfillment, the 1914 generation, our time. that is what we are discussing.

  plugging in another another interpretation of length of generation or meaning of generation.

  fm: I am not pointing out the wt error in length of the generation, the overlap reality will catch with them by 2075. I am questioning the identity of the 1914 generation, pointing out the error in making it precisely the "anointed'.

  The fact is that Jesus is recorded to have said that the generation will pass away after all has occurred, including the greatest disaster in human history,

  wt prophecy denies that, the anointed generation passes away before that event.

  A generation according to Jesus was approx. 50 years give or take a few years in length that is borne out by other Bible verses regarding a generation

  smiddy, even double that, because his listeners, or that generation, lasted into the 2nd century, like Jesus' contemporary John.

  Where do I stand? both the bible and wt doctrine should be exposed for what it is. and their supporters prodded to defend, and thereby expose their flawed arguments. I have seen twice, in close contact, terrible things happen by and to people that believe in falsehoods. hitler and stalin followers. both hindered to see the other side. the truth.

  smiddy, it was in response to punkofnice's quotation: translate? it is a striking rhyme, learned it in the 1930s. it is even wt / biblically correct, making Jesus the co-creator.

  "The Lord - God said:" let there be light", --but Jesus could not find the switch. (in the dark).

  said with the guttural nichcht, like in the infamous russian "Nnnyet" in the UN.

  s3 : to be fair, the bible says "heavens" plural. If you exclude the 'spiritual' domain, to the bible writers, in their dark, unpolluted dry desert skies, thousands of stars , even a galaxy or two were visible to the naked eye. That is four layers of the " heavens above", 1) the moon orbiting the Earth, 2) planets, comets orbiting the sun, 3 ) the Sun and other stars orbiting in the Galaxies, and 4) faint galaxies, part of the cluster.
  It is the Earth existing from the beginning, that is the bible error.

  So if you make it into the Millennium a person is of the GC if the JW dies beforehand, he is OS.

  Fm: good bare fact. but also: the Jw that dies beforehand could be just a Sheep. period, one of the

  AS, anointed sheep.

  current Wt doctrine has it, that the generation of anointed will have to die before Armageddon.

  wt's current doctrine does not match Jesus' words. In those, his "generation" dies after Armageddon

  PZ. That is actually a good procedure, if done with dulled pain. I know someone who had it done twice, became a new man, free, feeling new heights.

  The obscenity is female circumcision, not biblical. a tragedy.

  just an observation viewing some of their on camera appearances , and their arrogance believing they are the only one`s used by god to reach and teach the people ,despite what gj said at the arc on the subject.. no doubt the gb men wear designer tailor made suits from the best tailors in nys ?

  and their wives adequately provided for in a similar way ?

  nothing from kmart or target ,walmart or whatever.. shoes are probably made from form fit cobblers to fit the individual ?

  Once it becomes apparent that an entire generation of JW's attains neither of the two hopes that JW's teach the Bible holds out for Christians, then we do have a new category. To deny it at that point, would be denial of reality.

  TD. wt teaches three hopes, foremost: 1) never to die at all, ( --Millions now living will never die! ) since 1918, and repeated in today's wt publications. 2) to die and be resurrected

  a) as an immortal spirit or

  b) as a citizen of the millennial kingdom. ( "you will be with me in paradise").

  to modify the "great crowd" teaching :

  here is one way: declaring the Great Crowd to be "the Israel of God", because:

  all partakers now, and in the past, (the apostles even) come out of the pool of people with an earthly hope, the 144 000 come out of the 12 tribes.

  In 1935 wt told the OS not to partake, now, let John 6 prevail again.
