  Any institution that spends billions of taxpayer money while there are people living in squalor on the streets should be abolished.

  h valid point. but by cutting down the top, you are not going to help the lowest.

  some in the bottom are beyond help, and there is also the trickle down effect. the human race has been lifted up most by it's top performers in every discipline. science particularly.

  The olympics are just showcasing one aspect of human excellence.

  I was a long distance runner in my 20's Rm

  I too was involved in some of these sports in the 1930,40ies,( have a film clip of the long jump, with tabulation done in 1942), soaring off the 10 meter platform, the 15 00 meter races, hitting the wall, the "needles" pain. so, deep interest, fellow feeling here.

  Its mostly a contest of human genetics when you think about it.

  Rm, yeah, it is amazing how the runners, pole vaulters look like the models that walk the fashion shows. Hope that these fine specimen and speciwomen have more kids than the welfare queens.

  Jesus, without sin and a perfect human being ?

  how could he be, regardless of how god impregnated mary, as she was a sinful human just like the rest of us according to the bible.. mary was subjected to the adamic sin like all other humans, so jesus had to at least be part sinner himself.. to believe otherwise is just deluding oneself imho .. the only way jesus could have been really without sin is if god created him the same way he created adam.. what do you think ?

  Why not get straight to the point and just make Jesus free of original sin? It's just not logical!

  Ds: right, why not even invoke the principle, during the original sin phrase, that the children should not pay for other's (their parent's) sins?.

  why not step in, for example and delay the first seductions ( I assume that Eve was very persuasive too, having good assets to back up her offers) until the first conceptions* were viable, and genetic damage would be limited to the original offenders? * I envision Eve having perfect sextuples after perfect sex, giving the same diversity we see since the mythological deluge. 3 procreating couples.

  Because of policies that make housing more expensive!

  S:right! immigration, tax policies, fat pensions for the entitled. profiteering in speculation. -- In many cities, even a low ranking professional, earning near 40.- and taxed***, an hour can alone not muster house ownership with values near 1 000 000.- and climbing out of reach.

  with more people and more dollars chasing the limited resources, it is going to get worse.

  rtn: not if the crushing is done with white hot rocks, cauterizing the veins opened by the crushing burn. If eunuchs were allowed to serve in the temple, ladies that saw possibilities with the likes of the sons of Eli, would be dis- appointed.

  I have it on good read, that the supernatural, if any, has a capital J in it. but

  I would think that to mean Joseph, a story with no metaphysical, 'beyond -natural-laws' happenings in it.
