  most of the sermon on the mount, matthew 5-7 - is bizarre, vague or barbaric.

  it actually smacks stupidity and not wisdom..

  if you lust after a woman, you’ve committed adultery (thought crime) .

  like the song said:" just one look, that's all it took." even the 10 commandments stipulates " not even to desire your neighbor's wife.

  and "Jesus" hammered that home when he revealed, that even the offending eye would have you end up in gehenna.

  I would be nice to know that the hidden rocks in the congregation would keep their adulterous eyes off your trophy wife, or worse, your young daughter.

  Stay alive till 2075! Sounds like history repeating itself.

  O: yeah, NOW wt leaders in effect say again: " Millions now living will never die " like they said said 100 years ago (1918-1925) , another infamous centenary.
  

  The overlapping generation is easy:
  

  2 centenarians overlapping by 20 years each*, reads

  2x 100 = 200 - (2x20) = 160 + 1914 = 2074

  +1 Year to sort out Armageddon = 2075. which is

  the anniversary, sorry I misspoke, it is the centenary, or 100st anniversary, lest we forget, of 1975.

  The Mysterious Missing Islam.....

  i've discussed this before but not in this context alone.. i remember being about 14 years old, 1994 and starting a study in the uk with a charming muslim from the congo.

  he was a very pleasant middle aged guy with a big family, two wives, always the most hospitable.

  at the time the watchtower had a book on many religions, a thick red book called 'mankind's search for god' so i would read and discuss the section on islam with him.. interestingly, but not surprising, many details they had were wrong about islam and he would explain how and correct me.

  take "ALL", and add the 2 last letters of the jw's god name,

  Make "Jesus" a minor prophet like na-hum. declare the Koran to be the "new scrolls"

  Really apply the bible's dress code to "sisters" Give the ladies their own, larger, room in the KD Hall ,

  take out the chairs,

  mandate beards, ---Voila,

  Many jw males would live with that. rather than have their throats cut. and their widows, orphan daughters join the harens of the survivors.

  For a specific locale, now astro event can pinpoint the site from all directions for long, a walking traveler.

  The only analogy would be the "Christmas tree" markers release by the pathfinder "Mosquito" aircraft to start their night time bombing runs at that point. Even then, the marking lights lasted only minutes.

  May be an early version of the fire in a tethered montgolfiere?

  the wt preaches that reaching everyone on the planet is so important, yet they barely have a footprint in china.

  if saving lives was so important, why do they not aggressively proselytize in china?

  because wt inc. has no real kingdom estate interests in China.

  No open presence in, - silence on - Islamic countries roo. in both cases , imprisoned Witnesses would be slave labour, slaving for the prison authorities, not wt inc anymore.

  Even GB members do not want to stick their necks out. of course
