  Superpower after perfection?

  there is much speculation about our perfect life ahead.

  a big way jw's are wrong is they do not allow for the human need to specualte on this life ahead.

  except for governing body, no one else can speculate.

  TREG, Your tongue in cheek obviously did not keep you from typing that. includes some radical ideas though, like daylight savings time by miracle. . I am sure most ladies will disagree with you, as will their husbands:-- having big bodies, adding acres of skin, will not appear to be a rise to perfection.

  note too, that some of these feats were not the mark of perfection, but done by others, rather than Adam or Adam the second.

  genesis says a lot about both pre-flood and post-flood giants.the really big nasty ones drowned in the flood but there were lots of others the israelites had to overcome including the king of basham with his 11 foot iron bed.people nowadays are much smaller and i think its due in part to us losing more and more of adams perfection.

  i turn my attention to the animals that went onboard the ark but are as yet undiscovered.

  during president knorr's time the panda bear was discovered in a market place in china and eventually an american team tracked them down in the wild.

  just five years later, on november 9, 1967, it flew its maiden flight.

  the total cost to develop and build the first rocket (apollo 4) was 185 million dollars (adjusted about 2 billion dollars today).. .

  in case the picture didn't load.... i'm referring to an elevator with a (quite common) weight capacity of 1,500 lbs.. would the 7 members of the governing body exceed this weight limit??

  i was just thinking about the way dubs are required to swallow huge indigestible lumps of “spiritual” food without question like a boa swallows a pig.. our batch had the "overlapping generation" presented amongst many other travesties.

  the gb looked us in the eye and dared us not to swallow it whole, don’t complain about indigestion just take it.. can you imagine though being told, post 1914, that the awaited kingdom, christ in all his glory had already happened.

  it happened just as foretold.

  i am asking that question because recent watchtowers tell adherents to not talk email or text a df person how does that jibe with being free moral agent able to make a personal choice?.

  Wt does not disable a person from making personal choices, but if you do communicate with an postate for example, in wt eyes, you have possibly joined the opposing camp.

  wt does not want to be held responsible for the chunning, or it's results, they declared those consequences " the personal choice" you made. It is never wt's fault.

  before the coup, the fds was defined to be all the anointed on earth, and the gb was part of that group and merely the spokesman for the group - individual gb members having no more authority than non-gb members of the fds.. however, a few years ago, the gb, independently of the other members of the fds, decided that it alone was the fds.

  that, to me, was an illegal overthrow of the body (fds); it was a coup.. suppose the u.s. president decided that he has all power, and that he removed the powers of the u.s. congress.

  The " all partakers are the slave , equal parts of the body of Christ " always sounded contrived. The change from "all the remnant" to "brothers in Brooklyn" was only affirming reality. Where wt went too far is demoting all pre -1919 Christian writers from the ranks of the F&DS too, -- Apostles, Paul, Luke, James and all.

  That is why there is no more "Bible" in the WTB&TS, organ, jworg. not only are many of the present partaker flaky, bible writers/characters were too.

  elaborate? yes: Using the words of David Splane. He upheld the life data of F. Franz as a standard for anointed overlappers. F.F. died in 1992 at the age of ~99 and after 78 years of partaking since and before 1914, the start date of the generation. A similar partaker overlapping Franz, would live to ~2070 (1992 +78), and be 46 years old today. Given that D. Splane allowed that older partaker exist (or partook earlier in their lives), and future improvements in healthcare, these facts would easily push that figure to 2075, understanding too, that the end of the anointed generation happens at the beginning of the Great Tribulation, well ahead of the end run of Armageddon. 2075 it is

  Of course , because Brooklyn backdated this appointment to 1919, it was passed off as a fait accompli, already in force since 1919, and by making the generation anointed, it gave the general partakers a consolation prize, they are the timepiece for the end, 2075 really.
