Voyager 1 & 2 40th Anniversary of their Lift Off

fourty years ago nasa sent two probes that were to go on a mission ,voyager 1 and voyager 2 in two trajectories through our solar system getting what information they could from the planets they passed close by.. 40 years later they surpassed all expectations and are still sending signals back to earth.. voyager 1 has actually gone into what is termed interstellar space that is it has exited our solar system free from the constraints of our own sun having travelled some 13 billion miles from earth.

voyager 2 which was on a different trajectory will soon itself leave our solar system and go into interstella space having travelled some 11 billion miles from earth so far.. both of these satellites/probes carry messages from the world of humans / governments to whoever might find it (alien life forms ) if they exist and find these probes.. my attention is drawn to the bible account of the tower of babel which really couldn`t have been that high seriously.and yet jehovah god felt threatened by what man could achieve if they had one universal language ?.

what must he be thinking now i wonder ?.

Depends on the perspective or point of view; the sun does not move in relation to the earth either.

Fisherman, the sun moves in response to the Earth's gravity around a common bari center, and the sun does move in response to every other planet, that is one way astronomers are detecting the hundreds of exoplanets, by the wobble of their suns.

In the book of Joshua, it says the sun stood still.

UTC, easy, if you disrespect the laws of nature, just stop the rotation of the globular Earth, and

Isaiah goes you one better, in 38:8 is reported inerrantly, that the rotation of the planet was reversed for a few hours. Then apparently sped up to make up on lost time?

All this is still easy compared to moving the sun, which we now know is ~ 13 million times more massive than the Earth. Modern science makes ancient miracles easier for the miracle maker ha ha.

i'm inclined to agree completely with this account of what paul really meant.. thoughts anyone?

Anyone experiencing an eclipse would know the earth is round.

WaeO: Yeah, the sun is round, the moon is round, and the light during totality on the horizon around the round shadow is round.

The bible still advocated a flat Earth in Jesus' "all the kingdoms of the Earth visible from a high enough mountain" temptation. Then, on a clear day, you could see forever, from Judea all the way to China' XYZ Dynasty.

The flat Earth has curled into a 3rd dimension since. but will have 4 corners again after the 1000 year reich. so, if it is the 3 dimensional, but with 4 corners, it must become be a 3 sided pyramid. ha ha.

Verse 22, round disk horizon? wt would have been better of to settle for the stretching of the gauze of the heavens, akin to the expansion of spacetime, or the quasi prediction of motor less human sailplane flight, just recently setting an altitude record of ~ twice the heights of Everest, like an eagle, without flapping it's wings.

The bible has 3 or 4 lucky hits among its ~50 000 verses.
