when i was in, during the 1970s, i would see circuit overseers twice a year.
i think there were two occasions when i saw a district overseer give a talk at the hall.
were eliminated as part of a streamlining process but who the hades has taken on their responsibilities?
2 parts to that question:
a) what happened to the people? have not seen one of them since. perhaps they live in better places than me, affordable only with tax free green handshakes?
b) what happened to the supervising of circuit overseers? they are now more centrally trained. who knows how they are monitored?

A common mistake. The concept of Earth as a planet is a contemporary idea. References to earth in the Bible are invariably references to the land/ground itself.
TD: a good point. bible writers, until ~ 100 years after Christ did not realize that the ground is not flat, but curves into a ball over the horizon. The geeky Greeks actually measured the curvature, and established the size of the earth with 10% accuracy. ~ 200 Before CE. It became a planet with Kepler ~400 years ago. so :

ask the astronauts how it feels to be above and free from Satan's control, Armstrong and co were already above it all.
feel sorry for the crews that go, to live in those ugly machines. stressed and deprived of beauty there, genetically altered, life shortened.
I thought the Apollo program violated bible teachings (keep rebels & co confined on the Earth). The seal is already broken. countdown to lift-off, even one way missions.

ds: I was just speculating. solar energy stored would of course be cooling. but using that energy returns the energy, ultimately into heat. The lives of the animals/plants that made the oil /coal cooled the planet, (also stored the carbon) . Us burning it, heats, Reflecting the heat would be a way to cool. solar panels absorb. 20%? and are shiny.
Even the Solar World Challenge Australian Solar car racers have short time storage batteries to control the juice that powers their wheels. Australia is a great place for solar power use. Arabia too, but they refuse. ha.
