You might also recall one of the recent theocratic calendars - the one with the 'paradise' theme had a couple of surfers working the shore break in the beach month. Somebody in the art department had an earlier career as a surf-dog. -

I am not a snake person. I always show then respect even though we only have one type of venemous (but non-lethal) snake here in Poland. My dogs however have a different opinion. I heard some commotion out in the yard one day and saw one dog flinging a snake into the air. It was about 2 meters long.
To avoid a big fight among the dogs over who was going to have the snake, I went out and put them in a separate area. The snake was missing part of its tail, and had a puncture wound in its side. I took it down to another part of our yard outside the fenced area by my compost pile.
A month later, I was making a deposit at the compost pile and as I approached, I saw a snake sunning itself nearby.
It was the same snake. Puncture wound had healed, no tail, but, otherwise fine.

Actually, my favorites are the wild boars. I know they can tear up a lot of ground, but the young ones are so damn cute with those spots. When I head off into the woods, I always let them know I am coming to avoid any suprises. Not a good idea to put momma boar in a protective mood. -

@possum. I agree. I hate it when I see city people here hunting pheasant. I go outside and start making as much noise as possible. I have nothing against hunting if you need to put food on the plate. I would probably starve. -

Agree about the moose Simon. I have seen fully-antlered males just outside my fence (2-3 m) . I was shocked how big they are. He just looked up (not worried) and went about his way. They only have one problem here, autos.
I have seen about everything possible here, except lynx. They are still being reintroduced - probablly to reduce deer population.

I love it too possum. Last spring we had a fox den across the street (30m away). It was so pleasant to watch the 4-6 young kits play outside the den. On the down side, I hate hearing the hares get eaten alive. Horrible sound, but part of nature.

It sounded like giants fighting with wooden swords. Turns out it was just 2 adult male moose. Nobody got hurt and they went their separate ways, just some pushing and shoving . Moose are non-territorial.

Revelation - it's grand climax is at hand
by Listener insome people point out the subliminal pictures in the wtbts publications but sometimes things are just so obvious, such as the title of the book above.. the person who came up with the title for this book must have had a good old laugh.. interestingly, this book first came out in 1988 and has not been included in the online library but nothing has replaced it.
the org is really going backwards when they ditch old light and cannot come up with anything new.
they are real wankers ;)..

@kairos: what was the thing with the headbands? Very strange to see so many in one picture. -

Actually it is a lot of money for here. Especially since it is just a 3-story building. Need to watch video again to see if one floor includes underground garage. For approximate US conversion, please multiply everything by 3 or 4 X.
I am starting to suspect that some well connnected 'brother' got in over his head and reached out to the branch to see if they might be interested. Pure conjecture, but will follow up. They could have constructed same building in Lublin or elsewher in depressed areas of eastern Poland for much less.
